FIGHTER!!!!

OK - so first, you all know I'm a huge fan of Jazzercise (if you didnt know - now you do!) ... love working out with music! They have some good music from the all eras - everything from pop, jazz, country & every now & then, there is a Christian song in there! I get so excited when that happens! But we had a great stress reliever routine with the song "Fighter" from Christina Aguilera. By stress reliever - I mean, a KICK BUTT song - punching & kicking - getting all the stress out from the day! Love throwing punches at the end of a stressful day....

I started listening to the words & WOW... it kicked MY butt! I knew it would be a perfect song for the kids to hear! ... a song for any of us to hear really...

The words can really be tied into the rough things thrown into our lives - the things that Satan throws at us - the sneaky way he tries to mess us up... how we can look at it & know we can come out of it stronger & wiser...

Makes me that much stronger - makes me work a little bit harder
Makes me just a little bit wiser - thanks for making me a FIGHTER!
Made me learn a little bit faster, made my skin a little bit thicker
Makes me that much smarter - thanks for making me a FIGHTER!

You learn from mistakes! God pulls you through... if you come out stronger & wiser, you're not going to do those same things! You are a FIGHTER!

Listen to the song - take in the words... realize that in the worst of times - in the things Satan tries to pull you down with - you can come out of it a FIGHTER!!!

  3. I'm with Kelley with Amy's Angels! I love it when you hear a song for the millionth time and it hits you like a load of bricks. Kinda like reading the same scripture over and over and getting something different from it each time too. God is GOOD!

'Cause if it wasn't for all of your torture I wouldn't know how to be this way now and never back down.

  11. Okay so I'm totally feeling like life is kicking my behind right now ~~ so yeah, I needed to be reminded that it is making me stronger, yep stronger through Christ that is. Life may be kicking me right now, but greater is He that is in me, than He that is in the world. Thank you so much for the reminder.

    Love you friend,
    Dawn
