"Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."
~Marcel Proust
This week I am THANKFUL FOR:
...Washi tape on clearance. I love using this stuff in my Journaling Bible but it can be add up when you want multiple colors & designs. I was so excited to see that red sticker on it at Target. It's not only makes me happy on furniture, but also on small crafty things.
... finally got caught up on my picture overload. Whew!
... long holiday weekends.
... an invite to paint pottery with my friends. It was great to get away from the computer for a bit & to loved getting to chat with new friends.
... & just to go with that, good iced coffee is always something to be thankful for.
... I was the winner of an Erin Condren planner! YAHOO!!! ... this girl is cheap & I just hate spending that much on a planner & now, I don't have to. Luck was on my side this time around.
... Fall weather is coming!!!!
... A phone call from a friend while she's driving home. Always love laughing with her & catching up on life.
... My friends finally put it out that they were expecting baby #2. So yep, Grand Buddy #2 will be coming in 2016. Babies are EVERYWHERE right now!
These 2 are also celebrating their 4 yr anniversary today |
... Found these camo running capris on clearance at Old Navy!!! They only had one pair & they were my size. PLUS, I got an extra 30% off so they were only $9.00!!! & then found the perfect shirt that matched it - also 30% off. Run in style is what I say!
... War Room was the #1 movie of the weekend. How cool is that to see a Christian based movie take the lead?
... A crazy abundance of KT Tape. I wasn't expecting this huge thing. I was just expecting the normal roll size & opened up the box & found 125 feet of it! This should last me awhile. Which is a good thing with my Bicep Tendon & my knee pain. I'll put this stuff to good use.
... seeing my family on Labor Day & making movie plans with my nieces.
... y'all ... this picture makes me want to cry. Like I totally did tear up when I first saw it, but I tear up every time looking at it now. Remember the post I did about the young man in the motorcycle accident that I witnessed a few months back?.... his momma posted this picture from the weekend. He's standing up! He has a walker next to him & I'm sure he still has a road ahead of him... but he's standing... & smiling... That morning I found him in that field, I never thought this would be a possibility. When I see pictures of him now, I am reminded that God is in control... & can help in what looks like the worst possible moments. Keep those prayers lifted for this young man... God is listening... as always
Picture taken from Facebook (he & his girlfriend are both such gorgeous people!!) |

ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome about that young man who was in the accident. God does good things for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE washi tape. I can't wait to see what you do with your Erin Condren planner. I wish my Target had the clearance sale. They had a thing set up advertising clearance washi - but there was NO actual washi on clearance. Boo! :(
I'm SO jealous that you won an Erin Condren!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear that that young man is recovering like he is! :)
I have so much washi tape but never know how to use it LOL! Yay for new planners - that is the best! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThat's great news about the young man that was in the motorcycle accident! They look so happy in the photo. What do you think about the KT Tape? I've never tried it but I've been having some knee pain recently and I wonder if it's time to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh - I SWEAR by the stuff. I have worn it for years & I still believe in it. It helps me in so many different ways. My dad needs knee replacement surgery & when he puts it on, he can even walk differently. It's amazing how it works.
DeleteSo many amazing things going on here today!! How awesome to see a great update on the man from the accident - God is good! And YAY for grandbuddy #2 and a new Erin Condren planner! :)

So happy to hear about that young man!! I have got to get into Old Navy soon. It is one of my favorite stores, and I haven't been in ages. So glad to hear that War Room is #1! It is much deserved.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the planner win, that is awesome!!!! I saw the washi tape on clearance this past weekend too but I couldn't think of anything I needed it for. I fail at crafting anything lately.
ReplyDeleteYay for new babies and winning giveaways!!! And that he can walk! That is so amazing! Congratulations all around for those things. :) Old Navy has the best best best running capris (at least in my experience)! And I love scoring things during their sales/promos.
ReplyDeleteAHHH so happy you won that give away! That planner, makes me so happy. I mean it is so expensive, but so worth it! And yay for running! Look at you girlfriend!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! That is amazing!! He and his girlfriend are so sweet. Beautiful picture, walker and all. I have a pic of me in the hospital at Mayo. It is not a pretty picture like this one, but it reminds me of that time and all God has brought me through. It is strength to me. I love this!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see that planner =)
Love you friend ~~ dawn
