Yes, a post on my sunglasses...

My relationship started in the place where most of my relationships in this form start...

in Kohls...

I tried on at least every pair on the rack... then finally, put on one pair & they fit me perfectly.  Dark enough on the lenses.  Covered my big round chubby cheeks perfectly.  Didn't give me distorted vision like some cheap versions do.  They were perfect... & beautiful...

my sunglasses...

I left Kohl's that day 5 years ago with the most beautiful pair anyone could ever have.

happy prancing
I strutted out of kohl's day that...

I knew wearing them, we'd have a long lasting relationship together.  I would take care of them, as they would in return, take care of my eyes... my special eyes...

I am one to plan ahead & thought of the horrible idea that something could happen to these precious things.  I go back to Kohl's to find another pair.  One pair they held... different, but the same.  Where mine were gold on the side, they had a pair, but with silver.  I purchased them & they didn't hold the same allure my original pair held... nothing ever would...

Oh yes, I've had other sunglasses through the years.  Cheap ones I didn't care would get scratched... ones I didn't care to throw on the ground... ones I didn't care about sweating in.

But my beautiful Sunni had a special place..... there she sat every day in my car, in the center area ... a place that is held to high esteem for only one pair shall get granted this place of rest.

I wore Sunni on bright beautiful days... on gorgeous days that I needed to get out of work during lunch... on days where I needed to cover my non-mascara'ed eyes... on days that I felt like driving with the windows down & getting my groove on to some awesome 80's music...

Deal With It Animated Gif on Giphy
Speaking of 80's music....Cue the song
"Don't you forget about me"

... sadly, I assume, all good things must come to an end...

The last time Sunni & I were together was Saturday.

I was driving to a photo session & with it being a fall day, with the windows down, me & Sunni drove along enjoying the day together...

I got out of the car to do the session...
.....& I have no other memories of Sunni & what may have happened to her...

my ears, my eyes, my face is just sad....

I can't even hold my head up
lest the sun blind me

Sunni... where did you go?

I searched my car last night with hopes held high...no such luck...

My dad said, pointing to another pair, 'there they are'...

noooo.... its not....

Oh father... not every pair is Sunni...
that's just a cheap replica version...

So today, I'm learning to accept that our long standing relationship has ended...

A new day has come... the search is on...

& yes, I realize I just did a whole post on my sunglasses...

some days, it just calls for that...

I'm TRYING to deal with it....

Random weekend thoughts... surrounded by horses

* Sleeping with the windows open... aahhh... & cough & sneeze... allergies are kicking my butt.  But I do love a cool breeze in the morning.

* Sydney, since Buffy has passed away, refuses to sleep on the ground anymore.  If she sees either one of us on the bed, she needs up there.  Now, she's a 12 yr old Aussie, which means bad hips, so she'll put her paws up on the bed & barks until we put her up.  She'll also bark in our faces in the middle of the night to put her down.  Full service.

This picture actually makes me sad...
these 2 would NEVER have laid next to each other...
But with their buddy gone, they're learning to tolerate each other more

* Still getting caught up on Elementary... loving this show.  Makes me want to talk in a British accent.

* Went to sit outside & read my Kindle... brrrr.... chillier then I thought

* First photo session of the fall that I wore jeans.  I'm usually wearing my wicking running gear so the sweat doesn't get me... this time?  Jeans & debated a long sleeve shirt.

* Photo session with a horse... its a little trickier then you'd think... you're looking through the camera & when the horse moves, I need the thing on my lens that says, "Objects are closer then they appear"

* Went to help a friend who was photographing a wedding... guess what was there?  A horse.... this was the day of horses... the bride was actually going to go down the aisle on her horse, but the environment was making the horse jittery.  I heard someone say, "Anyone else having visions of Runaway Bride?"

* I was editing pictures late into the night & kept hearing a yipping noise... turn & see Sydney griping at me.  What did she want?  You guessed it - to go to bed & someone to put her on the bed. ... once again, Miss Princess wins out

* My turn to teach in Merge... I love these kids.  I asked them how well they know me & if I could be anywhere, where would be my favorite place?  Hands up everywhere & shouts of DISNEY WORLD... then someone took it a step further & said, "I thought it would be playing Belle in a movie"... OH SNAP, that's the winner!  & then someone said, "I thought it would be a world of yarn".... yep, I'd say the kids know me. :)

* Another gorgeous day... we ended up eating lunch with friends & determined we needed a place that had an outside eating area.  We sat for hours laughing... & eating... laughing... & eating... & then fighting off flies

* Sam's Club... Don't be jealous - I did some Christmas shopping!

This is NOT someone's Christmas present...
because I'm not Donald Trump

* Stopped into Starbucks while Ricky went into Best Buy (equivalent of a shoe store for a woman)... & I think I was the only one not getting pumpkin-something.  I was so afraid they've gotten rid of the Peach Green Tea Lemonade... but YAAHOO - still had it.

* I really liked my color combo for the day.  Found these shorts at Target for $5.00 & loved the navy with it.  I felt so preppy & back in my high school days.

* Miss America while on Twitter made it so much better... I mean, how do tweets like this not make you laugh?

Friday Fragments

Half-Past Kissin' Time

Friday!!!

* Don't know where you're at... but if you're not around here, sorry for your luck... because its gonna be BEE-U-TI-FUL!!!!  Sunny, in the 70's... yes!!!

belle runs
This will be me running outside this weekend
... & y'all already know me & Belle are the same person...

* I'm excited I have a photo session scheduled on a beautiful day...

* & make that a trifecta... because I also get to second shoot at a wedding Saturday night with a friend.  I'm excited to take a step back & get to do what I love - take pictures...at weddings...on a beautiful day... with a friend

* Now, let's hope I feel better - I've got some sort of sinus thing happening.  I think its allergies.  Sore throat, running nose, headache.  Always fun.

* Sad alert... I think all the dogs are grieving over Buffy, but its surprising to us - Bruno seems to be taking it the worst.  He just seems sad... & he always sleeps with me, but he keeps jumping off the bed & I find him laying in the spots that Buffy used to lay in... break my heart...

Crying
It really does feel like we've all cried like this over the past week....

* Dancing with the Stars.... 3 days away... YES!!!!

* I really want to see that movie by Kirk Cameron - Unstoppable...

* A buddy sent me this video last night... its literally like 6 seconds, but I've watched it like 100 times & laugh till I have tears....

* I saw a special on the news about baby carrots being washed in cleaner ... I just bought some & opened the bag.  I don't know if its because I just saw that special, but MAN OH MAN... they smell like bleach.  I couldn't even eat them.  It was STRONG.  I need a farm to grow my own stuff.

* I really need to stop eating snacks at work over my keyboard...

Buffy Yuck
Me when I go to shake out my keyboard & clean it up

* I just now realized what the date is...

Friday 13th
Doesn't bother me one bit...

* that made me remember... did anyone else ever watch that corny movie, "Saturday the 14th"?  I remember it being so funny ... but I was also like 10 years old... that's when booger jokes & fart noises are funny... I looked at the trailer of the movie & thought, Really?  I liked this?  ... but now I want to watch the whole thing again.  Something about corny 80's movies that still tugs at my heart...

What do you say about yourself?

Ever have those moments where you just don't feel up to par...

& by par, I mean, up to par with everyone else?

I know the saying....

I truly believe this

It just seems lately that everyone is doing it better, everyone has it better...

I look at things in my life & see things with my own eyes... & see how much better everyone else's life seems to be

I run & run & run... for over 5 years now, & still don't feel progress... Feel like every first mile is always a struggle & every mile after that is even worse & yet, I see others starting to run & in 3 months, they're ready for a marathon... really?

Fail Running 2
This person is still even better then me in running....

My house always seems to be a mess & I see everyone's cute little decorated homes & the Pinterest ideas come to life in every corner of their world... & I don't even have time to clean the dust from the corners of mine...

I feel like my blog doesn't fit in anywhere... when I see others with cute "mom blogs" or "Fashion blogs" or "Fitness/running blogs"... & I just see my thoughts are everywhere & scattered on here...(sorta like my life)

I watch every little calorie I eat & still gain weight... & see others who skip lunch & lose 10 lbs in a week...

Blerg
Tell me you lost 50 lbs by some stupid new trend... & I'll give you this look

Someone else's hair is more beautiful
Someone else is more creative
Someone else gets recognized before you for things that you've done longer
Someone else's photography is better
Someone else's car is cleaner

It just seems like everyone has it together... I don't
Like I'm in the back of the pack of everything...

Anyone else ever feel like that?

Please someone say yes... if not, then I'm REALLY in the back of the pack of life...

.... & then I'm reading John & see that someone asked John the Baptist a simple question...

....What do you say about yourself? ~John 1:22

What a powerful question....

What do you say about yourself?

Right now, I'll be honest... I wouldn't say a lot of things positive about myself.  I would look back at the comparison thing & probably not want to say much about myself...

John didn't respond with the moans & groans of the world...

He didn't complain about how people were picking on him...
or he didn't mention how hard his life could have been...
no 'poor me' attitude...

He responded with words of the prophet Isaish

"I am the voice of one calling in the desert,
'Make straight the way for the Lord'"
~John 1:23

This was eye opening to me...

What do I say about myself?

Do I continue to say, "I'm not good enough at (Fill in the blank)"

or do I look at that question & see the things that I can do to continue to point to the Lord?

I mean, even with horrible hair, or a dirty house, or even with an extra 10 lbs... I can still point towards the Lord...

& isn't that what's more important anyways?
Isn't that what brings true joy anyways?

Thank you John the Baptist for showing me that I can still have that main purpose in my life... & don't have to wear camel's hair & eat locusts while doing it (Matthew 3:4)
There's a positive...

So the question for you today...

What do you say about yourself?

Still remember....

I'm still reading along in John...

Still have lots to share & think about...

But today, it just doesn't feel right to do anything but post on September 11...

A day in history that is just known by the date...

Not "Pearl Harbor Day" - not "Kennedy Shot" - not "Hurricane Katrina"

but an event only known as 9/11...

I am amazed there is a generation coming up now that really doesn't understand what happened...
& that's sad to me

I've spoken with some of the kids in our youth group before & they don't have a clue...

yeah, they know what happened... but just the basic info that they probably heard in school or from reading a book...

they don't know the shock of seeing the events play out live on tv
they don't know the fear that was felt around the country the days following
they don't know the heartache of so many people in our country dying on our soil

....maybe that's a blessing they don't know...

but we still remember

*Yep, I know it says 10 yrs...

Recognize...

First of all, I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who send me messages, comments, emails...

Our hearts were so touched to know that even though we're hurting, we know we aren't alone in walking that path...knowing others can sympathize with you is a comfort... thank you for your sweet words...

& now, I'll give you a warning... I'm reading through the book of John.
We kinda gave the youth kids that challenge with a book we are handing out to everyone - I mean EVERYONE ... the kids are passing them out to all their friends, around their school... everywhere... so I figured I would read the book of John myself...

If you don't know me well yet, know when I read the Bible, I see things that stand out to me... I write down ideas, questions... so the warning is you may get a LOT of thoughts about the book of John in the next few weeks... You've been warned...
_______________________

Recognize...

& dang it, now when I hear that word, I think of Honey Boo Boo where she says, "Redneckonize"...

I may watch too much TV for me to know this term

Ricky & I were running in the Papa John's 10 Miler back in March.

Just got to mile 2 & that's where the crowds are.  You are weaving in & out of people, trying to get in the groove of things, feel your pace... trying not to think that there's a long distance ahead..

I always see people I know in these races... whether it be friends from church, or people that I've met along the way running other races... familiar faces.

Familiar faces are good... especially in things where you need encouragement...

So someone runs by Ricky & I & does a double take & then says, "Oh my gosh - its you two.  How are you?"

We both waved & looked shocked back in return at seeing this lady & said we were good & exchanged quick pleasantries & then she was off...

I looked at Ricky & said, "I have no idea who that was"...

I actually looked like this because I run in pony tails

He just shrugged his shoulders too...

We got about a quarter mile & Ricky had his Ah-Ha moment... I KNOW WHO IT WAS...

It was our neighbor who used to live next door to us...

She was an avid runner.
I mean Chicago Marathon, New York Marathon, BOSTON MARATHON kinda runner...

When she lived there, I never even thought of running - but would see her go out in the sub-cold to run, or the hottest humid day... a dedicated runner...

I'm sure for her to see us out there running had to be a shock for her...

But I hadn't seen her in awhile... at least 5 years...

I knew I knew her face, but I just didn't recognize her.  Couldn't place how I knew her...

Reading the first part of John, it talks about Jesus coming to earth...

He was in the world & though the world was made through him,
the world did not recognize him. ~John 1:10

I immediately think, come on, how do they not recognize Jesus?  God in human flesh?
You'd think it would be so easy to see...

But then I think how often I get so wrapped up in things, I don't see what's right in front of me...
or time goes by & I forget a face & how I know them

Its easy to get distracted
Its easy to forget

But as we remembered that face that ran by us... some people had that realization who Jesus was...

Yet to all who received him, to those who BELIEVED in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.... ~John 1:12

Today, let's be thankful that God gives us that chance to let things click...
to remember...
to receive....
for the right to become children of God

Buffy Sue...

The post I didn't want to write...

This was the picture I posted Friday evening....

It says it all...

a ball... with no player...

We knew Buffy was getting bad.  She seemed to go down just since Wednesday.  She was still happy last weekend & playing & running....

But she was going down... & we were watching it happen...

On the left - 2 weeks ago
On the right - Thursday
You can see how the cancer was just draining her

I prayed over her every day that God would take her gently or we would know without a doubt when it was time to help her go.  And I kept telling Buffy to let us know when she was ready to go....

Friday, we came home from work & she was laying outside... looking tired... looking more sunk in...
She was struggling to get up...
We took her ball & she would catch it laying down... but after 2 throws, she would hold it & not give it back... she was done playing...
I'd even take her Frisbee & throw it to her & she'd let it hit her face instead of catching it....

I always said when she stopped playing, we knew she was giving in....

I looked at her more closely & her gums had been turning, but now were a pale yellow.... the inside of her ears had even turned yellow
her liver was shutting down

We sat in the yard with her & cried because we knew this was coming to a point we had to make the choice...

Friday as we were figuring out what to do....
Sydney just stuck close to her sister

It was Friday & the vet closed early ... & we knew we didn't want her suffering during the weekend & have her die in pain while we sat at our home & were completely helpless to do nothing for her.

We decided it was time to go....

Buffy could hardly even walk.... Ricky had to take her in his arms & put her in the truck.

One last stop.  We went to the park.  Her favorite place in the world.

When we took her before, we'd make the turn into the park & she would jump & pant at the window, fogging it up with her breath, not able to get out of the car fast enough.  We took the turn this time & no reaction.  She looked around, but not moving.  We opened the car & she did get excited to get out.  Ricky had to lift her & she got out & took a few steps & just stood.... not the excited running yellow lab we were used to at the park.
We let her take her time walking around - smelling her playground....

She just took it all in.... her favorite place

There were people playing basketball & when she & Sydney were younger, we used to go the park every weekend & we'd play basketball with them.  They literally would jump up to block the ball & then roll it down the court.  When Buffy heard the basketball, her ears perked up & she went to run to the court... but only make it about 4 steps & stopped... & just watched from a distance.
The life just wasn't in her anymore...

It was time to go...

We got to the vet & Ricky had called ahead so they were expecting us...

there's nothing like getting there & knowing this is actually happening.
Its like an out of body experience...
its not really happening, right?
Surreal

They took us to a room with couches, carpet on the ground... tissues...
They explained everything to us & let us spend some more time with her...
We took her ball with us & tried to get her play one more time... she would catch it.... but then just let it roll past her head & she laid her head down & just looked at us... so tired... so exhausted.

They gave us treats to give to her & Ricky even said, Buffy, please eat one more & we'll take you home.  Please...
He'd throw it at her & she'd let it hit her in the face... turn her head to the treats...

Why does it still never feel right to let them go even though you know its the best?

The vet came in with the shot...
I knew I couldn't stay.. I couldn't bear to watch ... so I left.
They ushered me out of the side door - I mean, who wants someone screaming & wailing sitting in the waiting room with people getting their dogs nails clipped?

Our last picture of Buffy
No energy to fight anymore

I leaned down & told Buffy I loved her - told her to go to heaven & find my friend Stephanie - Steph knows Buffy - & they could talk about how much liver cancer sucked... & Steph would play with her... I kissed her head & I walked to the door.  I looked back & noticed she didn't even attempt to move.
This is the dog that every time we were in the vet's office, even when we were there 3 weeks ago for the horrible news, a door would open & she was there trying to bolt out.
Not this time....
the sunlight was even shining through - showing her it was an exit to the outdoors... she still laid there...

I walked out...
I got out of the door & fell to my knees...
literally fell to my knees...

You hear of the scripture where it says the Spirit intercedes for you when you don't know what to say - that was me...
I just kept screaming "Jesus... Jesus... Please... Jesus"

Ricky stayed with Buffy... he said she was loyal to him all her life, he was going to be loyal to her till the end...

He said when they took her paw, she stiffened but didn't jerk - just was startled...
Again, this is the dog that when you would grab her paw to cut her nails, she'd jerk & pull & tug from you... not this time...
she just laid her head on Ricky's leg...
even scooted closer to him

Ricky feels horrible & believes she was scooting closer to him to have him help her...
I choose to believe she was scooting to him to let him know that she was thankful for him helping her get relief from this body that cancer had taken over....

Ricky said it was literally seconds...

she was gone from this world...

We sat in the parking lot for 15 minutes & just cried...
numb...
all so unreal...
so final....

& walking into the house without her
Life just feels so different now....

She was the one who was the first one to run to the door when you got home
She was the one who wanted to play ... even in the middle of the night...
She was the one who got all the dogs to be active in the home...

Our house is just different now...

Sydney keeps looking for her sister
Bruno is lost - Buffy was the only dog out of the others that would play with him
Zoe is the one who would chase Buffy when she had a ball...
Now - they're all just quiet... can feel the difference in the house...

Its been tough this weekend.
Tears that just spring out of no where...

Trips to the store make us think of her when we see dog toys
Looking in the cabinet makes us see all the food we bought to try & make her eat
The balls & ropes scattered around the house are memories of a dog who wanted nothing but to play

Its so hard...

I know when I go to work out this week, I'm going to cry - Buffy would always sit next to me working out & when I would finish, her tail would wag & she'd be so excited... like my own personal cheerleader.

When it rains next, its going to be hard not to look out to know Buffy is laying in it because she loved water so much...

When we wake up in the middle of the night, it feels different not to watch out for her to not step on her where she blended in the carpet...

I'm glad I took pictures of her a few weeks ago... memories of her when she was still her playful self...

I know its blurry - a picture of a picture
But this is the first day we brought Buffy home in 2002
She just wanted Sydney to love her & take care of her
... Sydney did her job...

I'm glad I took videos of her the past few weeks... wish I took more
Makes me aware to take more videos of life around me every day....
Its good to see her alive... to remember her that way...

I think God is trying to give comfort though...
Friday night, Ricky said he woke up just full of grief & for 2 seconds - that quick - he said he saw Buffy sitting next to the bed - as clear as day...
but she was healthy, her body wasn't sunk in anymore & she was panting, the way she did when she was happy...
I honestly believe God gave him that quick vision of Buffy & the wholeness she is in now...
I truly believe it....

Ricky is feeling especially lost right now because while we both always put our dogs as a top priority, the past few weeks, Ricky did everything possible to help Buffy.  He literally would come in the door after work & sit with her & try every food combo possible to try & get her to eat.  He'd stop to pick up burgers, or chicken nuggets, or lunch meat... even fed her an ice cream bar on Thursday... & bless his heart, he would sit up through the night with her to comfort her.  She even would go & sleep in the yard in the middle of the night (something she never did) & Ricky too a blanket & pillow & slept with her out in the yard...

that's the kind of person my husband is....

We had Buffy cremated & we went out this weekend to get a stone marker for her.
Going to bury her with her ball & rope...
Want her near us...

She's always going to be part of us....

She's been through holidays with us
She's played with our grand babies
She's loved on our friends
She's kept me warm on winter nights
She's protected our house with her deep bark
She's made me go outside & enjoy nature when I would otherwise waste time
She's been the best friend anyone could have

And I want to thank everyone who sent us messages, texts, phone calls...
We appreciate it.
I never had children of my own... & while I have wonderful step daughters, my dogs are my family in a big way... my babies...so when some people may just think, 'its a dog' - no, its my family...

a piece of both mine & Ricky's heart left this world Friday...

The difference....

Cancer sucks.....

Friday Fragments

Half-Past Kissin' Time

I think I've missed out on Friday Fragments the past few Fridays...
& honestly, don't feel like it now...
we're just stressed & feeling down about Buffy
... things are still going downhill fast for her...
but I'm going to try & just blab to clear my head...
So really, its BLAB Friday

********

* I'm the first to say that I don't stay up on anything political or world news, but I know what happened in Syria is horrible... but I'm not sure we need to the call our selves the Police of the World... why are we always inserting ourselves in everyone's business ... especially when we can't take care of our own problems in our own country? ... (stepping off soapbox)

* Its #Skirtember ... & yes, I used a hashtag... that's what you do when you're cool.  (Not really)... but every Monday, you can link up with Kristin at http://kedarhower.blogspot.com/ & the point is to wear as many skirts/dresses as you can for the month of September.  I'm up to 3 so far... not today. Casual Fridays are what I live for.

* Amanda is gone in Big Brother!!!.... YAHHOOOO!!!!!

Yes Amanda - that is the direction of the door....

* Anyone else noticing how much later the sun is rising?  I hate driving into work in the pitch dark

* Anyone else notice how early the sun is setting?  I have to make sure I don't wait too late now for my evening run ... (I almost put my evening runs, but that sounded like a medical issue)... Time to break out the reflective vest for late runs.

* So I feel like a 15 yr old girl - I'm finishing up on Pretty Little Liars Season 2 on Netflix... I'm not sure why I watch it because every episode, I'm like "That is so stupid.  Like an adult cop would date a teenage high school girl" - change "cop" with "teacher" as well.  I don't remember having a wardrobe and/or wearing make up & having hair like these teenage girls.  It really is corny if you look at it... but I'll keep watching, I'm sure :)

* I'm kinda excited about the new American Idol Judges.  I was always a fan of J-Lo being on there... & LOVE LOVE LOVE Harry Connick Jr. ... I may actually watch again...

*  Speaking of judges - have you seen Christina Aguilera lately? OH MYGOSH... girl is looking amazing!!!
Now let's just see if she can dress normally

* What do you think of the DWTS cast?  I have to say, I love that Bill Nye the science guy is on there.  Please let him have rhythm... please...
But I'm excited for Amber Riley & Derek... And I think that Elizabeth & Val are going to be the ones to beat.  Anyone remember she did a movie where she was a dancer... yes, a dancer without clothes... but Val is one of those dancers that probably will have her take as much of her clothes off as possible.

I'll always see her as Jessie from Saved by the Bell... even though she's aged something crazy

I'm not sure how I feel about Valerie Harper being on the show.  Its inspiring that her brain issues are doing well... but wouldn't you think the pressure & the stress of the show couldn't be good for her? I hope she has the time of her life though.

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE

Keep on....

Luke is our second grandbaby...

the cutest second grand baby there is...

He loves his momma totally & completely.  It always makes me laugh because when you are around Luke, you hear him say over & over, "Mommy... Mommy... Mommy... Mommy..."

it never ends until she finally answers

I mean... NEVER.ENDS.

I think its precious actually.  The way his voice is.  The way he says Mommy.
It actually sounds like Stewie on "The Family Guy"

& for the record, I don't watch The Family Guy... I don't understand a cartoon about a kid with a football shaped head that is violent, curses & has the stupidest father ever...

Angry Animated Gif on Giphy
Does anyone else just see a football with eyes?

but there is a commercial that plays for it all the time & Stewie is standing next to his mother going, "Mommy, Mommy, Momma, Mom, Mother, Momma, Mom" ... & she turns around finally & says, "WHAT?"... he just looks at her & says, "Hi"

That's Luke...

So I thought of that persistent cutie pie (Luke... not Stewie) today when I read my Bible verse for the day...

Luke 11:9-10 (NLT)
“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened

Do we stand behind God & keep asking for what we want ...
or even to just say, "Hi?"

Or do we get frustrated with Him because he hasn't answered fast enough
or we didn't get the results we wanted?
& we walk away...

Nope... this verse is a perfect reminder of those kids that never give up...
God wants us to bug him in the same way..

KEEP ON!
Keep on asking.
Keep on seeking.
Keep on knocking.

Be that persistent one....

(BAM!  I just made Stewie from Family Guy a Biblical example... I'm sure somewhere Seth MacFarlane just died a little inside... )
