I confess: I'm eating up this weather. This morning it was 55 degrees. I did not want to get out of bed. We slept with the windows open & I think my brain thought fall was here.
I confess: I think it should be a law that when temperatures are between 70-75 for the high & no rain, then all work should be shut down. Life should be lived.

I confess: I hate when people at work use the word "WE" .... like "WE need to complete this task"... when WE has no part in it whatsoever. I do so good holding my tongue because I want to say, "You mean, I, me, numbre-uno , needs to complete this task"... but WE goes out of it really quick if something got messed up. Do I hear an Amen?
I confess: That stupid video, picture thing going around about the dog celebrating it's last day & having a photographer follow them before they put him down.... no no no no no no no no no... & no
I confess: no one should EVER NEVER EVERRRRRRR ask me to do this kind of photo session.
I confess: I wish the trend of huge bridal parties would end. It causes such unnecessary stress. Your friends will still be your friends if they are not in your wedding. If they're not your friends because you didn't put them in your wedding, then they don't need to be in your wedding. #truth
I confess: I jogged next to my bed at 11:10 pm last night for about 5 minutes because my FitBit was at 9,359 & I was so close to 10,000 steps.... I went to bed with 10,103 steps. SUCCESS!!!
I confess: This made me laugh... mainly because I bought all the stupid irons & crimpers to try and obtain this look. Totally Rad!

I confess: Our neighbors brought us over some spare garden goodies. Cucumbers, squash, eggplants, peppers. I love I get to enjoy the reap of their harvest. Literally. Is it inappropriate to do a running hug to thank them when they bring yummies over?
I confess: I'm already over Rising Star. Could care less.
I confess: Steven Curtis Chapman's new video for Glorious Unfolding is out & its fantastic! I honestly think this song is in my top 5 favs from him.
BONUS CONFESSION: I totally got teary eyed when I saw the little hidden jewel "SEE" on the rock. Oh, the feels....

ReplyDeleteI saw a snippet of Rising Star this week. I agree - meh. But I do love me some Josh Groban!! The photo session with the dying dog. Depressing as hell. You are wise not to schedule one of those sessions....

ReplyDeleteDude, I could accomplish so much workin' out in those temps. It's 90mabillion% humidity here and at least 85°F and I just want to DIEEEEEEE. Fall/winter is where it's at!
ReplyDeleteI refuse to watch the dog video. I just can't. I gave my dog some extra snuggles and we had a chat the day he had to be put down (he had cancer) and he got to ride with the windows open the entire 45 minute drive to the vet. He had pretty much stopped eating though, so a plate of cheeseburgers wouldn't have happened. I don't do viral videos in general. I'm a hater.
I'm going to a wedding next week with 8 bridesmaids. That just seems excessive to me.

Very stupidly I watched that video of the dog the other night. Then proceed to bawl like a big 'ole baby. Like couldn't catch my breath I was crying so hard. Why do we do that to ourselves? Grabbed both my babies and snuggled them real close because the people in the video are way strong than me. I'd be a wreck! Good for you for getting to 10,000 steps!
