One thing I know I want to do in 2016 - MORE READING!
I got in 40 books this year - which for my schedule, is pretty good. But I see that some of you do like 40 books in 2 months... & I'm jealous...
but I love joining in today with Life According to Steph for the big bang - the best books you've read in 2015... I'm going to love visiting everyone's pages & seeing what they recommend. Especially since I'm always behind on the reading front...
but here's my favs of 2015
... & I'll try & sum them up Twitter style... fast & quick...
Real Housewives style with a little twisty murder plot
Christian lifestyle & lessons learned weaved into
Dancing with the Stars
Partner to husband, Best friend to daughter, crazy to others. Bernadette leaves to show the truth to everyone who she really is.
A look behind at how fairy tale a fairy tale romance can be in a royal family
A year quest about prayer of all denominations, faiths & seeing how others feel like prayer works in their lives.
Based off the story of Joseph in the Bible, we're reminded that what Satan indeed for bad, God can redeem for good.
These were my 5-star books for the year...
I totally recommend every one of them...

Have you read any of these?
What's your best book of 2015?
I really love your format- you told me what the book was about and now my curiosity is peaked! I definitely need to check out "A Year of Living Prayerfully"! I think that sounds like a good read. (And 40 books still blows me out of the water!)
ReplyDeleteI so love how you described big little lies, now I have to read it!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI want to read Candace Cameron Bure's book.
ReplyDeleteMFD might like that living prayerfully book...I might get that for him for our upcoming trip - super long flights mean books are needed!
ReplyDeleteyay the royal we! love. i loved big little lies too. hopefully i'll get to that bernadette book this year!
ReplyDeletei loved the royal we!!! BLL is on my list.
ReplyDeleteI selected Where'd You Go, Bernadette for a reading challenge, and I haven't had a chance to read it just yet! I'm hoping to read it in 2016. I've loved everything by Liane Moriarty, and The Royal We sounds like a book that I would love!
ReplyDeleteI love everything and anything written by Liane Moriarty! We read Big Little Lies for my bookclub and everyone loved it! Have you read any of her other books?

I just finished The Royal We a couple of days ago and was so sad for it to end! I've got my fingers crossed for a sequel or a movie ;) Loved all of the Liane Moriarty books I've read this year, too!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Bernadette! Such an interesting book, once you get used to the weird way it's written. Big Little Lies was great, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with me and Steph!
I don't think I've read Big Little Lies yet! I need to get on that. And yes, Bernadette was so good!
ReplyDeleteI have that last book, but haven't read the full thing!! I need to pick it back up and finish it!
ReplyDeleteI tried to re-read all the Harry Potter books, but I didn't quite make it. I think my favorite new book was The Martian.
ReplyDeleteLove these little blurbs about each book! I haven't heard of that Lucado book, but am definitely going to check it out now!
ReplyDeleteDid you hear Big Little Lies is getting made into an HBO mini-series (or something like that)? Bernadette is on my tbr.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of those -- but I'm always looking for good book recommendations so I added them to my Goodreads list. I had actually forgotten several of the books I read this year until I saw them on my Goodreads list -- they were good/great/not-so-great while I was reading them and then I promptly forgot them. Oh well ...
ReplyDeleteOh these all look like great books! Getting back to reading books is something I want to get back to! I don't know how you were able to read so many between working full time, blogging (TWO blogs) and running and all the exercise videos you do!
ReplyDeleteBernadette is on my list to read but it got mixed review so I am waiting to read it when I have a lull.
ReplyDeleteI so keep wanting to read Candace's book!!
