4th with scissors needed!!

Its always fun to get together with friends on the 4th! I think this is our 3rd year with the Neal Family... love them all like our own family! All the grands are adorable...But this little face right here is the one I want to run away with every time I'm there... How can you resist that smile?

Things went pretty crazy though when all the kiddos were running around with fans in their hands... We're sitting on the front porch when someone comes out & says "Mom, can we use your hair cutting scissors?" - you know that's never good. This is what we found!! And poor thing - this is Nina - Ryan's girlfriend visiting from Vegas... she went home with a little less hair...

And this is what happens when you let a 5 yr old play with your camera... some great pictures of her aunt Carly

Of course, cant miss a picture of new baby Emily... look at her holding onto her mommy's shirt!

And to top it off - I took this picture & heard someone say "Is that proof?"... Yes ma'am!!! I can make things when I have too... I got this receipe off of one of the blogs - wish I knew which one so I can say thanks - it was super yummy! The name of it was embarassing though - one I wont even share here... but everyone would ask Ricky, & he'd say "Its called Chocolate Delight Cake" - so we'll rename it, I guess! I'll just call it "a little bit of yumminess!"

So it was another great holiday! Hope everyone else had a great time & ready to start the new week!

  10. How fun!!! I need the recipe for the cake please. I'll even name it Chocolate Delight and credit you.

Emerson got her hair caught in the swing at school and they had to cut it out. Now she has a rather large piece of hair at the crown of her head that sticks up like Alfalfa.
