Today, I have been at my job for 17 years.... did you hear that? 17 years!!!
WOW... 17 years is longer than a whole span of education...
When I started, I wasnt even married... I was just 20 years old... I've AGED in this building!
What's crazy is its basically the same people who I'm still working with! That's a long time to be around people!
So in a world that holds a lot of instability in the job market - I'm thankful today for my job.... even though I started as a young single lady & am now sitting here a much more "mature" woman who hides my grey!
You are so so right, I'm so incredibly grateful to just have a job..... I've been receptionist now at a law office going on 7 years, and do I want to get out from behind a desk? Yes. But do I feel blessed to have a desk that I can sit at? EXTREMEMLY!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That is quite an accomplishment - and a testament to your company, I think. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree...that is quite an accomplishment and definitely something to be very proud of and grateful for.
ReplyDeleteAhhh yes I used to hide my grey. Now I just embrace the grey. Sad, I know =)
