I really like this spring/summer poncho.
Really light weight yarn - lacy almost
& I love these colors.
& looks easy enough really.... just a really long rectangle, folded in half
... I could totally do this.

But he lets his grandma do whatever she wants for her 100th birthday ("I want to do it all")
... & the end chokes me up every time.

Happy weekend y'all!!!
Hahaha I can't tell you how many times I forget why I needed to stop at the store!!! Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness - are you in my head?? I love all these! I LOVE the Jen Hatmaker post - my tribe has been keeping me protected and going these past few months ... which has led me to be more protective and supportive of others, whether they know they're in my tribe or not. I'm going to be making little paper airplane doodles during all my meetings now. :) Happy Friday!!
ReplyDeleteThis may be the most informative blog I've read all day, on two accounts, the elephant story and the water boy!
ReplyDeleteI tried zucchini boats once and it didn't come out quite as I would have liked - so I need to try it again!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteA water boy? $53K?!? Wow! Have a great weekend, Rebecca Jo!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing that mug about 'nose stuck in a book' from Beauty and the Beast. My sister LOVES books, and that just gave me an idea for a birthday gift. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that mug and the airplane how-to!
ReplyDeleteAnd that IG elephant post is EVERYTHING. I love that!
Oh my gosh, that video! I definitely teared up!!
The IG elephant post - amazing truth. I love it so much and thank you for sharing it with us. It absolutely made my morning. And the beauty coffee mug. I want one! Those zucchini boat thingys look super tasty. I'm trying to eat healthier too and they look delicious and good-for-me, which isn't always a combination that's easy to find! The reminder is great. And I have to take lists with me to the store these days. I used to be able to remember what I needed. Now I don't, which is very, very dangerous, especially in someplace like Target! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI posted the zucchini recipe on Mike's FB page (because he's the cook in the family) - ha! LOVE Jen Hatmaker! And that video - priceless.
ReplyDeleteThat mug!! So cute and give me a good zucchini boat for any dinner!! Water Boy...bah ha ha! Happy weekend pretty lady!
ReplyDeleteOh that mug is gorgeous and the doodle is so cute, love it! The stuffed zucchini looks so good too. Have a great weekend! - Tasha
ReplyDeleteI love the number neighbors funny. I am sure that would happen to me. Ha. I want to try that zucchini recipe. It looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteThat mug is amazing! And I loved the Jen Hatmaker elephant post!
ReplyDeleteAs always, thanks for sharing! These posts are always so much fun to read :)
ReplyDeleteI think I've read the Jen Hatmaker quote before...probably because I've read two of her books. Have you ever read her stuff? Some pretty amazing thoughts. I particularly liked her book 7 (which was her experiment with "less" in the sense of worldly things so she could gain more in the sense of spiritual and other important things), and I liked several chapters of her book For the Love too, though that one was quite random and went all over the place, so parts of it were really hit and miss. However, there are still things from both of her books that have permanently altered how I think about certain things, so if you haven't given her stuff a try, you might consider looking into it!
Visiting late, but thanks for the Sunday giggles!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the zucchini recipe, those are some of my favorite ingredients! The mug is adorable and OMG on the elephant story. Enjoyed the laughs too....
