This was created by Proverbs 31 Ministries & I can't wait for it to kick in gear on Monday. A daily devotional that is just 5 minutes of time to spend with God. The idea is to do it as soon as you wake up. Start your day with God. It even has an alarm to wake you up or to remind you to spend these 5 minute with God early. I've got my alarm set to go off right when I get to work so I can start my work day off the right way.

Yep, I can't wait for that 4:00 today. Hubby is working at home and I'm at work. Yuck!! I love the beagle and the window. He looks so sad when the window is going up. Poor thing.

Oooh I am definitely going to download that app. There's no better way to start the day than to start it with God. I had the YouVersion app, it's pretty great too. There's tons of daily devotionals you can choose from.

ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to your dad! Like Kerry, I didn't get the Batman funny. I thought of you as we were driving through Louisville yesterday. That traffic! Tell me you don't have to drive through that every day to get to work? It was CRAZY! And a crazy GPS didn't help ... told us that we'd have a 20-minute delay on I-64 but offered an alternate route that would save 6 minutes. As near as I could tell, it wanted us to turn north to cross the I-65 bridge, get off and then circle back to I-64. But I'm not sure because with all the construction, we were driving off-road (according to the GPS) ... I think it finally got so confused that it "gave up" ... no verbal or visual prompts. We were driving around trying to figure out how to get back on the alternate route ... finally I gave up, too, and told DH to get us back to I-64. I'd take those extra 6 minutes to know for sure where we were going. As near as I could tell, we got back on I-64 right about where we got off (we were on I-65 south so how far could we have been from the exit to get off on I-65 north?) ... and we didn't see one single slow down. It was CRAZY!
