Take time to be thankful for everything that you have. You can always have more, but you could also have less.
This week I am Thankful For:
... Gordon Jones. That's the name of the young man I saw in the motorcycle accident one week ago today. I am so thankful for his recovery. He is now out of ICU, off of a ventilator & while he has surgeries ahead of him to repair his arm & leg, HE IS ALIVE... & thriving! I honestly believe this is a miracle. I have no idea if I'll ever see this man again in my lifetime, but I am still praying for him & he'll always be a reminder of God's protection to me.
Here's the young man you've all been praying for |
... Facebook & the power it holds - putting me in contact with family & friends that are giving me updates on Gordon. I am so thankful for those updates.
... Our human bodies. Though they fail & ultimately return to dust, they are tough. They go through so much & are made to be strong. God's creation is amazing to me.
... the cooler air. Oh my gosh - it hasn't felt like June/July at all the past week. If Summer was like this every time, I'd look more forward to it.
... Going to see my little Grand-Dudes this weekend. I can't believe how big they are getting.
... Love that Luke loves his Pappy so much. Julie put up this picture & told us that Luke only wants to wear his ripped jeans because that's what Pappy wears. Ricky is such a clothing diva & is constantly buying jeans that have rips & tears in them. Julie said she's just happy that Luke rips his own jeans & doesn't want the ones you have to pay double the money for because they have 'designer' rips :)
... my cousin & his wife had triplets born this past week. Now that's an addition to the family! But momma & babies are doing well.
... Laughing at Harvey Dent. We have been getting flies in our house since its been so nice & we've been keeping the back door open & windows... watching him chase the flies has been nothing but pure entertainment. Love that dog.
What are you thankful for?
What a miracle that he is out of ICU and so wonderful that you are keeping up with his story - you were his angel on earth! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
