This week I am Thankful for:
New Dog Toy
My amazing sewing friend at work created a little toy for the boys. She made one for her dog & she loved it & we wanted to see how it would withstand the BIG BOYS playing & tugging with it. Well, they LOVE it. Its a simple "crinkly" sounding toy & they fight over who gets to carry it. & they love for me to throw it down the hall while I get my make up on in the morning. ... She did warn me that the skeletons glowed in the dark which I thanked her for because I was expecting it to be held over my head in the middle of the night waiting for SOME little puppy to play - regardless of time.

Long weekend
Still getting in those vacation days so they're not wasted & loving long weekends.
All the birthdays
Last week was a HUGE week. I had my friend's birthday, my mom's birthday & our oldest grandson's birthday - (how is he 14 years old? Can someone explain that to me?) ... so much to be thankful for in celebrating another year.

Steam Mop
I have been eyeing this for awhile & finally one day just got the itch to go ahead & get it. I wanted to use steam & I like it has reusable pads for it. So much waste for the liquid & plastic bottles & the pads that get tossed. I'm super impressed with it. It made my floor so nice to even walk on. I like its a vacuum too. I'll be using this on all my floors!
Kinda a big deal
While everyone talks about someone they know giving them info on the latest COVID updates, I feel like we have the "know" because our girl is top of the line in her field in the world of science. We are so proud of her being featured on the NIH.GOV website this week. That they acknowledge her & her work & the path she is laying for women scientists who want to have a family while ya know... doing all the science things that change the world - she's showing you CAN DO IT ALL! So proud of her.
