Keeping it Together... making 2022 choices

Hosting with my awesome planner buddy Lauren from Shooting Star Mags

Well - look at me. I've been a big fail for the past few months - but you know I'm still planning away.  I cant believe we're coming up to the end of another year & time to make the plans for what to use for 2022.  Which, can  we stop & think about that year... 2022. I honestly was driving into work the other day & Prince's 1999 was on & I honestly can remember singing that thinking 1999/2000 is so far away!!! & how, its SO FAR BEHIND US!!!   Nuts!

I have made it through the year with my Passion Planners.  I'm proud of myself for making it through the year in one planner.  Well, kinda - I mean, the Daily planners are quarterly - but yeah, the same name brand.  Am I going to stick with that for 2022?  Wait till the end to find out.

There's all my Daily planners for the year.  I am finishing up with the pretty pink one. I figured with the holidays in it & a big milestone birthday, I'd do a pretty one for the year. But I really did enjoy just the plain black ones because I had fun putting some vinyl stickers on it making it mine.

Here's just a few of my spreads in my Daily Planner just so you get a little memory of what it looks like inside.  & reminder - you can see all my planner spreads on my Planner Instagram account - Name is PlanninginFaith (Click on name) ... Also, I'm going to be doing a GIVEAWAY soon - I'm giving away a 2022 Passion Planner AND a Daily Planner - it'll be up in just the next few days!!!

I add a little bit of personality by using stickers but still adding my own flare.  I put the little doodles around the big sticker on the bottom.

& because I need more space on some days for work, I end up drawing my own lines in the open space - it works really well for me to continue the work lines a little bit more.

& here's my October spreads that I used in my WEEKLY Planner.  I really enjoy using it for more of a Memory Planner than anything. I dont take it with me anywhere - I just fill in thoughts or highlights of my day - or even add in pictures that I print with my Canon Ivy Printer.

And because I use my Monthly in my Daily Planner for appointments, I really had fun when Passion Planner had a challenge in October calls Pashtober where they gave a list of doodle challenges.  It was so fun to do every night to just play around with the drawing.

You'll see a tab at the top of my blog that will link you to Passion Planner. It is an affiliated link that gives me a little commission if you use that link.  You can also use REBECCAJO10 to get 10% off.  & if they have a sale that gives more than 10%, my code will match what the latest sale/code is.  Or you can click on the link & that will also give me the credit.  I promote this planner because I really like the paper, the way its made - plus the company gives back so much to the community & environment.  It was created by a young girl in her garage & it has just blown up for her & its just going to keep growing!

Now... am I going to use Passion Planner next year?

I'm going to use the Weekly Spread one FOR SURE.  I like how it lays with the binding. & the paper is amazing. I use markers & it just doesn't bleed.  That's why I use the journal for my Bible Study.  I've been using them while reading the daily devotional/study on She Reads Truth.  Saves from buying teh books, which take up a lot of space because some of the studies are 2 weeks long.  After cleaning off my shelves, I know how many Bible Study books I have - so I really am enjoying that I can put a full week on 2 pages - this will last me through all of 2022!

As for the Daily Planner? .... I'm still on the fence.

I used the Amplify Planner the year before & I REALLLLY REALLLLY liked it for work.  it has a lot of space for work lines.... & its a planner that has a monthly layout, a weekly layout AND a Daily layout!   The thing that is really making me want to go to it is also that I'm back to work - in our iitty bitty tiny cubilces.  So my desk space has gone down so much.  The Passion Planner lays flat... which you wouldnt think takes up a lot of space, but it really does.  The Amplify Planner folds on a spiral ring so I can fold it & it would fit on top of the work calendar I have to keep on my desk anyways....

We shall see... I feel like I so enjoyed the year in a planner - why mess it up & change anything, right?

All the Planner options!

& I'll leave you with one more code...

I was so lucky to be a part of the Winter Rep Team for Mariatalianplans .... which is a small business ran by the sweetest lady who is a young mom.  She creates some of the cutest stickers & had her own little "mascots".  If you buy any of her stickers & use the code REBECCA15, you get 15% off.

And you get the little freebie that she created just for me.

I mean... come on... coffee & reading?  Perfect!

I buy so many of her stickers just because they add so much personality in just a few little stickers spread out in your week.  Plus, look at all these holidays ones I just got!!!!

Sorry so long - that's what happens when I dont join in for awhile.

Have you made your 2022 Planner choices yet?

Do you use journals?

Are you also an inner 8 year old who loves stickers?

Keep it Together - Planning for June 2021 ... ALL THE NEW STICKERS !!!!

Hosting with my awesome planner buddy Lauren from Shooting Star Mags

Look at me - remembering to do another planner post when I'm supposed to. Pretty proud of myself here. It's like my planner actually WORKED this month!

I figured this month, I would share some of the stickers I've gotten because Memorial Day pushed me into some sales that I couldnt miss out on.

One of my favorites is still Wobot & Friends. I dont know why I love these little robot looking creatures - but I just think he's adorable. & I just really enjoy supporting this young lady who is in college & making a real career for herself with her little sticker store.

She's come out with washi tape now & I've gotten quite a few rolls now - just adorable.

& she came out with a few new Wobots.

These two are my go-to with my iron deficiency anemia. One shows a run down battery - all zapped out. She has one with a green FULL battery too - I didnt get that because come on - that rarely happens to me.  & I also got a TIRED WOBOT.  This is me for about 98% of my life.  If I have to feel bad, at least my planner can be cute.

Wobot also came out with a few little Woodland creatures... couldnt pass them up either. Also had to get the Washi to go with them as well!

Here's a few more of her newest Wobots - & these are in my sticker book that I also got from Wobot's store - you can put them in there to store & they peel off easily to use.  I really like this way of keeping them together & know when I'm getting low on certain stickers.

Pizza Wobot - I've already used 2 off these... & DANCING WOBOTS - perfect for Friday's!

I am such a sucker for anything succulent - so I love these tiny floral/plant stickers. They look super cute with the matching washi.

& I literally never place an order that I dont get a reading or book Wobot sticker. These are my biggest ones I go through.

Also got a page of Bills Due stickers... because ... adulting.

I got a bunch of the cutest little stickers from another place that I've fallen in love with - Mariatalianplans - here's the link to her store right HERE.  She has a little Guinea Pig named Chloe that has been the head of her line for the longest. Who knew a little Guinea Pig would be so adorable? Here's some of my Chloe stickers I got  on my last order.

Little cute Exercise Chloe in her pink outfit & a not feeling good Chloe

Working Chloe - but I like using these for blogging in my planner

& now she's also added another new sticker - Millie - little floppy ear bunny - I got a few of those stickers too.

Book /reading Millie

Coffee /Tea Drinking Millie

& NOW, she just came out with another one that I'm in love with - Milo! He's a little Corgi!  I dont have any of his stickers yet because he's new - but Maria did send me a little sticker with him in with the bunch with my name on it for my last order.  You gotta check out Milo. HERE'S his page with his stickers

Had to cover the top & bottom - this is on my cover page so it has my personal info

One of my favorite places I just found is called White Bird Design Co. This sticker store.... just GORGEOUS. They are a Faith based sticker shop.  She also has some Bible tabs which I think I may end up getting.  But here are some of the sticker kits I got for my planner.  You can just buy sheets separately if you want the stickers with the beautiful text to put in a journal or to get some die cuts to put on your computer or water bottle.  I really love to support a faith based sticker shop!!!

Finally, my favorite planner place - Passion Planner - put out some new sticker books for the Spring. Most of them have to do with Travel & summer - they even have a new Pet one... but I had to snag up the Floral sticker book. Always a fan of florals.  Here's one of the latest spreads I did with it.

Simple spread - but gives it personality.  The sticker book has florals grouped together in colors so you can just stick to those few pages of stickers & know you're going to have a beautiful look in your week. I also am a sucker for plants... which this sticker book has.

& how about color  your own? I love this. They have a few pages of florals that you can color yourself to match your planner spread for the week. How cute would it to be have your kids color them too & use in your planner?

So... share with me anything you did this month to organize your schedule?

Do you still love stickers - no matter the age?

Be sure to link up with us if you have anything fun to share in the planner/organizing world.
I know Erin Condren just released a whole new series so I know some of you have gotten a new planner... show me!

Keep it Together... Did I find Planner Peace?

Hosting with my awesome planner buddy Lauren from Shooting Star Mags

I have totally failed in 2021 sharing my planner. That's really a shame too because I have really found a planner peace.  I mean, we're almost to the 6th month of the year & I have no desire to switch planners because I'm bored or its not working for me any longer.

When I last left you in planner world, I said I was trying out & going to try for 2021 the Passion Planner... & yep, this is what I'm still using.

The Daily planner comes black.. .I've just added some of my Vinyl stickers I get from Elevated Faith onto it to give some personality.

Yes, I use 2 planners.  The big one is a weekly planner & the small one is a Daily Planner.

I really didnt think I would care for a Daily Planner - but now, I love it, use it, you've guessed it - DAILY - & even carry it with me all the places.

I just really like to use  it for the day to day check off the list items.  It helps me keep things in my mind for work especially.

But the right side, that gives you a blank page. I really enjoy using it differently all the time.  For  journaling, for writing Bible verses, for prayers, for just getting things off my mind, for Grocery lists or quick ideas. It can change EVERY DAY - that's what I like about it.

These planners hold 3 months so to use one every day, you'll have 4 little planners at the end of each year.  They are really nice quality though & I think they'll look pretty stacked together on a shelf. I'm going to get a label maker to mark the year on them too. I may even get something to tie them together at the end of the year.

Here are some samples of my Daily Planner. .& know I've had a LOT to pick from using it every day for over 5 months - but a lot of these pages are personal with the journal side so there's a lot more I'd like to share, but here's just a good snippet.

So every day looks different... some days I'll keep a food tracker in the side - some days on the big pages.  Some days hold Bible scripture - some days are thoughts.

Always have stickers & washi & highlighters.  Though, I will say, some days, I've been doing recently more writing & highlighters - not necessarily using stickers all the time

Speaking of not using stickers... here's a few more samples

These are actually clippings from magazines! Just got some glue stick & laid them down.

It's been really fun for me to go through my mom's old magazines that we was going to throw away & finding some cute  little add ins. I've made a folder & keeping some really cute font words & some cute pics for future spreads.

I did one in my last quarters planner that was just coffee cups I clipped out of the magazine - it looked so cute.

& then we have the big daddy - the weekly planner.

I have actually gone back & forth on this one how I use it.  Some days, I use it strictly for documenting the daily schedule. Some days, I actually write on it more of a journal of the day. & some weeks, I'll even add in pictures from my Canon Ivy printer to give it some personality & memory keeping. I really like keeping my photos in it. (I actually use photos  in my daily planner too - here's one from this past weekend on my dad's anniversary of passing)

OK - back to the weekly planner.

Here's some spreads over the past few weeks.

This was the week I got vaccinated & had to put my sticker I got in my planner.

I love how this turned out - I found this full page sticker set in the scrapbooking section at Hobby lobby & they all just laid down so cute in the planner to give it such pretty personality. I love the colors too!

I'm a sucker for yellow. It makes me so happy.

I really liked this one too & its not sticker heavy. its just little icon sticker full & it just is more of a minimalist look & it still brings me joy. I printed a picture of the week down at the bottom & again, I just like the memory aspect.

I have a spread from the next week that I printed 3 pictures - one from Mothers Day, one from lunch with a friend & one of my hair since it was hair week (I'd share it but it had some personal writing in it) but I printed the pictures smaller & journaled at the bottom & it just is so pretty.

So much to do with my planner. I'll need to show next time how I'm using the extra pages in this planner too.  I've got Gratitude pages, Mood trackers, Weather trackers & MORE memory keeping.  Yep, I'm loving these so much.

Tell me....

All the stickers... all the doodles... all the links! Closing out 2020 planner style {Keep it Together}

Today's the day I get to join in with the with the beautiful  Alexandra & Lauren .  My fellow friends who love all things planner, stationary, pens, & organization. Be sure to stop by & see their posts tomorrow (on Thursday).. or feel free to post tomorrow with them & link up with us.

So we made it to December... where we look forward to new planners - clean slates ... bring it on 2021.  Our 2020 calendars & planners may not look like we expected, but they'll be something to look back on down the road.

The one big planner thing I did since the past week was take advantage of some Black Friday sales!  Yep, sticker shops & Planner stores had some sales & I loaded up.

Because I'm going to be using my Passion Planner for 2021, I made sure to snag up some Tabs for the planner. You can choose which color you want & I am really happy with this earth tone neutral color palate.  It looks so pretty spaced out on the planner.

If you've been interested in Passion Planner - they are having another sale familiar to their Black Friday Sale.  It goes till Dec 18th... check  it out.

I've printed out some samples off their site & tried them out the past 3-4 weeks to get the feel of it & I think I'm going to be very happy in this planner.  Here's some of the looks I've done in it.  The only difference in my new planner will be it wont have the coil in it - I've taped these in my Amplify planner to finish out 2020

I also ordered me a 5 year planner on Black Friday from Plum Paper Planner.  I got this with the intent to use it like I did the little 5 year journal where you write down how your day went & come back & fill in the same day each year. A good way to see how 5 years on the same day looks.

Well, what's different about this planner that I didnt realize - on every day, there is a prompt - a question.  I didnt even know that was in there.  I'm not sure if I'll just answer the question every day & see how the answers change every year... or use it how I normally use a 5 year journal.  I have 15 days to figure it out :)

I also loaded up on stickers... because I love me some stickers.  I especially went to town on stickers from Wobot & Friends & The Coffee Monsterz Co ... both are just sized so perfectly to add a little cuteness to a planner day - but not too big where its overwhelming.

I love the ones above I just got in the mail - especially love the guy with the hat on & a face mask.

I ordered some more I'm waiting to come in & they are some little Monsterz with Target shopping bags - LOL.  They are just so darn cute.

I had to get these for the year end though... crazy working days...

I actually bought a lot of cute ones for the Holidays - Santa hats & fireplaces & Christmas trees... I'm sure you'll see them in my next month's post in my planner.

& Finally, I'm really liking moving my Faith Journal into a Bullet Journal I had gotten at Hobby Lobby. The pages on this thing are SO THICK where nothing bleeds through them.

This bullet journal that I use is on sale at Hobby Lobby for $5.00 right now!!! WHAT??? I need to stock up myself!!!

I have really enjoyed practicing some doodling with my Bible study time....

& of course, stickers make it all just pretty to look back & read again....

Some days is just about writing scripture....

& I even use it for church services online & writing down notes.

The best part about this journal is where I use it for "Check In's"... its what our church calls it when you basically journal your prayers with God. Checking in with Him... telling how you're feeling. I need to do a post on it because it's really given my prayers with God a new boost.  I obviously can't share those pages because they're super personal.... but I appreciate looking back at these prayers lifted, cried out to God over the past month.

... & there you have it... another month of planning under my belt.

I'm so excited about 2021 & cant wait to share what my new planner looks like & how I've been printing on sticker paper to make it work just for my needs.

Do you have your 2021 planner yet?
