Amazoning....

It's been awhile since I've done one of these... I think I've been doing pretty good letting our mail man get break from delivering packages ... but I do still love me some Amazon.  Here's my latest buys

PRO Compression Calf Sleeves

I love these things.  Especially when I get shin splints, they really feel like they hold my shins tight, & they especially help with calf cramps.  I'm not sure of the scientific reasoning behind why a lot of runners use these, but I just know they feel good on my legs.  I'll put them on for a run & wont take them off until I get ready for bed.   PRO Compression is probably my favorite & I do buy a lot off of their website direct when they have sales or grab bags, but these were actually cheaper then on the site - plus had free shipping.  Plus, they were pink. Pink calls my name.

K&Company Jubilee Adhesive Borders

I'm all about finding scrapbook stuff for my Journaling Bible & for my planner & these things are pretty neat.  They stick on & are so beautiful with all the designs.  They are super thick too.  I like them because you use the full length on the edge of a page, or you can cut them up & use small areas for design.  Cheap too $5.89 + free shipping.  There's quite a few in the package too.  The only downfall?  They get tangled up very easily in all the loops & edgings.  But that's where its good they are thick - I haven't had one yet tear or rip.

Sony SDHC Class 10 Memory Card

I love when Amazon has sales on their memory cards.  They add up in cost when you need a ton of them.  & in case you didn't know this - see that 10 in the little circle?  Cards have different "Classes" & the higher the class, the better the quality of the disk that holds your pictures.  Plus, the speed of the card is faster so if you are a 'quick clicker' then you'll want a fast card to keep up with you.  There are cards that are as low as 4 class -  That's why you see the price difference in some cards.  If you are going to take the time to take a picture, you want it to last & come out looking good - go for the higher class cards.

Lowe Cornell Simply Art Watercolor Cakes

This is one of my best friends.  I love this palette of water colors. I use it so much in my Bible Journal.  When you use water colors, you don't have to prime your page, as long as you don't put it on thick.  Which is kind of hard to do with water colors because it will just make your page super wet & rip easy - a no no when bible journaling.   The colors are so beautiful & full of so many varieties.  I can't say enough about this.

Quartet Two-Tone Home Décor Magnetic Dry-Erase Board

I love this thing!  When I was redoing my office area, I knew I needed a white board & this was just perfect.  It fits right in the middle of a design I have with a calendar & a black framed peg board.  I love it uses magnets as well to hold post it notes.  It's 17 x 23 & just a little over $20.00 ... This is one of my favorite recent buys.

Avery Removable Chalkboard Labels

Have you ever tried these new removable labels?  I love these things to put on jars & containers.  I think I could make a jar for anything & everything with these babies.  They come right off too when you are done, but I've never had the need to take them off.  Chalk rights just 'ok' on them but if wanted to commit to a project, I'd recommend those chalk markers that don't come off.  Perfect for bathroom jars for cotton balls, for holidays for candy treats - even cute for name tags on gifts... I'm sure you can find 1,000 ideas on Pinterest for these things.

  2. i LOVE chalkboard labels!! so many uses for them. PS - i've seen those borders at the dollarstore before. dollarstore can sometimes have really nice things (it's hit or miss) but i always peruse the craft aisle whenever i'm in there just in case and snap them up when they have them.

  4. Wow, I had no idea that there were different qualities in memory cards. I knew there were different amounts of memory but I've never even looked at the quality number. Now I know to look for that in the future :)

  5. I've been buying books ... I've been buying Kindle books with the narration, essentially turning them into audiobooks. But if I don't want to listen, I can read them as my audible app and my Kindle app sync, so I can pick up right where I left off.

  10. I bet you go through a ton of memory cards. I love the removable chalkboard stickers, so many uses for them. I buy a lot of dog items because Seamus is spoiled. I use BookBub to tell me when books become free on Amazon too which is nice.

  12. I didn't know that about Memory Cards. Thank you! I didn't know you used water color paints, that's a great idea. My Bible would never look good....I'm no artist so I will stick to coloring pages right now. I like those removable chalkboard labels. I just put The Glass Kitchen in my Amazon cart! I have a new phone cover coming tomorrow along with an olive spoon with a pick in the handle and next week I have a mission style plant stand coming. I love Amazon......

  14. I had never heard of Bible journaling before. Very cool way to highlight passages. Is there special Bibles that leave white space for doing such things?

  16. I need to check out those calf sleeves. I think I pulled my Achilles (or at least some tendon is sore) and all up the back of my leg feels like it's on fire when I "run" ugh!
Those chalk board removable labels look really neat. last thing I bought from amazon is a meat thermometer. I'm so paranoid about undercooking my chicken that it's almost always dry. :(
