WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK
We are kinda in love with Asparagus Ravioli that we have found at the grocery.
It is AMAZING!
It's the Buitoni Pasta that you can find in the cooler section of the pasta aisle.
TRY IT!
I usually make some portabella mushrooms with red peppers to go along with it.
This would be perfect for Christmas dinner #redandgreen
WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT
How fast time goes by...
In the next 2 weeks, its my oldest grandson's birthday & my twin nieces birthday.
To see them all now just blows my minds.
I still see them as little babies...
if its gone this fast already - how fast will the next few years be?
WHAT I'M LOVING
The Bible Study, Seamless ... I am loving something that is giving me a reason to stay in my Bible. & learning once again from stories I've known for my whole life.
God always speaks through His word.
WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO
Ricky & I have been still praying & trying to figure out where God is leading us, sending us, putting us in our church life.
We know right now, we are exactly where we should be while we are honored to worship God in a personal setting with our friends....
& we're open to see if God leads us back to our home, or to new adventures.
It's all new ground...
WHAT I'M DREADING
All the onslaught of last minute people that want to get pictures in Fall but wait until its actually Fall to try & schedule. My October usually fills up for next year THIS October. People usually wait to the last minute & I end up trying to get everyone in... & that's why I'm double & tripled booked right now & I literally can't squeeze anyone else in...
& I hate saying no to people... but it gets to this point every year where I have to.
I hate being the bearer of bad news.
How I have to break the answer to people who want to schedule too late |
WHAT I'M WORKING ON
Finding a good Fall wreath for my front door.
I haven't had one up in awhile & now I'm on the hunt.
Pinterest is teasing me into trying to make one
... but has anyone got a glimpse of my schedule?...
I wish I had time to craft... but life says no.
WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT
As much as I hated to pay for a new washing machine & dryer, I am pretty excited to get it this weekend & put it to use.
Anyone else hate messing up nice clean sparkling appliances?
My laundry pile is building though so I won't keep it all sparkly new for long
WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING
I am loving this book.
Anyone else read it & not just envision William, Kate, Harry & Pippa in their minds?
How do you not with this cover of the book?
I'm about half way done so don't give away any spoilers to me
... I'm dying to see how it all turns out!
WHAT I'M LISTENING TO
This is my go-to app now when I run.
I'm so thankful for this to show me what I need to look for in music
- the BPM (beats per minute) - it makes such a difference in my running now!
WHAT I'M WEARING
WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND
You guessed it - PICTURES! & more pictures!
I tend to not do baby sessions because its a special field but I always say I'll do my bride & groom's just because I love watching their family's grow.
This is my last pregnant bride... I've had 3 this year.
All such precious babies!
WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH
& by going on vacation, it basically means I'm probably still going to be working from home on photography stuff.
... sigh....
WHAT ELSE IS NEW
FALL TV IS BACK!!!
I'm so excited & my DVR is already on overdrive with all the shows.
I'm already loving that new show Quantico! I can't wait to see what happens on there!

ReplyDeletei have a super smart coworker (did a stint with NASA to build a space station, several robotics for NASA etc) how possible it would be to build a washing machine that not only dried your clothes but folded it too and he said it was totally possible....that all one would have to do is get templates for how things are to be folded, build that into the memory/robotics of the machine etc but the updates/maintenance would be killer bucks.
ReplyDeleteso i looked at him and said: soooo.......can you build that because it would really make my life easier LOLOLOL
The Royal We=loved it!!!!! :) :)
ReplyDeleteMmm, asparagus ravioli - I will definitely be keeping my eye out for that! And everyyyyone has been talking about The Royal We this week, it's time to bump it up on my 'to read' list!
ReplyDeleteI have seen Quantico, but we started a new one called "Limitless" and it looks like it could be pretty good.
ReplyDeleteGirl I thought I was busy!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that dish so pretty green and red!
Those dresses are so stinking cute on you! I'm working my way to a dress with out having to wear a sweater to hide my arms ... lol
Sometimes you just have to say No, for your own sanity. I have Quantico on my DVR schedule hoping it is as good as it looks.
ReplyDeleteThat ravioli sounds sooo delicious! Yum! I can't believe how busy your fall is with photography! At least it's something you enjoy doing but dang, all the sessions and then the editing. Drink lots of iced coffee this season. :)
ReplyDeleteAsparagus ravioli? Mmm. Never would have thought of that! I'd 86 the mushrooms and add chicken probably! I watched Quantico last night and was thoroughly entertained by it. I normally don't watch new shows but I will be adding this one. It's great that you're all booked up! Means you are in high demand because you are so good! Trish - tales from trish
ReplyDeleteI totally need to get on my wreath making game!!! I haven't really made one myself but I keep saying I am going to. I seriously can't believe tomorrow is October 1?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad about having to say no to people. It sux, sure, but it's their own fault for waiting until the last minute. I booked our wedding photographer a year and a half in advance just to be on the safe side! lol
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for a good Bible Study to do. I'll have to check out Seamless. Right now I'm with a group doing Experiencing God book for Bible Study. If you haven't done it yet, I highly recommend it. Congrats on getting a new washer and dryer. Someday, I'm going to have to break down and buy one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I am waiting for the day my washer/dryer bites the dust so I can purchase new ones too! Nothing better than new appliances!
ReplyDeletei loved the royal we! i kept picturing them too in my mind!!
ReplyDeleteLove your dress! I bet I would enjoy that book. The asparagus ravioli sounds yummy, I will have to look for it.
