1. How did you name your blog and do you now wish you had thought about it maybe another five minutes before hitting publish? Would you change your blog title if it were not a huge pain in the derriere?
I just looked & my 15 year Blogaversary was October 18! 15 YEARS! That's nuts!!! ... anyways - I have had the same name ever since day 1. I named it that because I had just learned to knit & was into looking at blogs that centered around knitting & patterns & I wanted to post some of what I created.
I honestly still like the name & dont think I would ever change it. I always love seeing the word KNIT in the Bible so this just touches on that & my little lamb in the design. All this time & I'm still happy with it.
2. What bill do you least like to pay?
I dont know why - but I hate paying my garbage bill. I think its because it comes quarterly so I'm not really remembering its time to pay it & then SURPRISE - another bill in the mix. It's not that its a lot - its just the hassle of it.
& I think we can all agree, anything with taxes just is down the commode when it comes to anything you look forward to.
3. What is your favorite word? Okay okay, calm down. How about one of your favorite words?
A favorite word? I've never really thought about it before... is it something I say? Like SHUT UP! ... or some place to go? Like Disney or Starbucks? ... or emotions like "love" .. or encouragement like "Press on" or "Strength"? ... or is it the things I love, like dogs or books.
This is just too much thinking for me.
4. Is the glass half full or half empty? Elaborate.
5. Were you here for that very first Hodgepodge post? If so, were your answers then similar to what they are today? Tell us what was happening in your life in November of 2010?
I may have been here since the beginning after finding my blogaversary date! I know I've been around with Joyce. I love seeing bloggers stick with it for the long haul.
Man - since Nov 2010? 11 years of life? That is a novel in itself, isnt it? I just know in 2010, my daddy was still here - first thing that came to mind. & we've had more grandbabies. Lost dogs, have gotten new ones. Its all about the circle of life, isn't it?
6. Insert your own random thought here
We have been trying YouTube TV - mainly because Hubby about freaked out when he couldnt see Kentucky Wildcats playing basketball on the channels we had. YouTube TV has the SEC network. All of this, giving me no cares. BUT they do have Bravo - now we're talking. But I'm really enjoying YouTube TV. We cant get our Cable service on any of our Fire Sticks - which we have on 3 TV's - mainly our kitchen & living room - the big ones.... but we can access this on everything & it actually has more channels than our cable service provides too. We're giving it a run - at least through basketball season (geez) & then make decisions on whether to keep it. All the streaming though... I honestly forget how many I'm signed up for at this point. 1o - TEN!!!! - off the top of my head... NOT including cable. HAHA. & I STILl dont have Peacock - which I need with the new Housewives show coming on it -& I dont have Apple TV - which Ted Lasso craze is making me want to watch it so bad. Can someone please put all the shows on ONE streaming service - I'll obviously pay for it! Make my life a lot easier.
