I wanna know more....

I dont know why I'm always amazed when God works things together, but He does - continously....

I am doing a Bible Study on Women of the Bible & it takes one person & focuses daily for a week on that person.  The past week has been on Rahab...

Then Sunday, the lesson for the Jr. High Kiddos - guess who it was on?  Yep... Rahab...

So I've been looking at this woman more in depth then ever...

Yes, she was the prostitute who lived in Jericho - the land that God said he would hand over to the Israelites.  Spies came in & Rahab protected the men.  She told the men they had heard of all the Lord had done & she even claimed to believe God WAS the God in heaven above & on the earth below (Joshuan 2:11)

The part I wanna know more about... Rahab's family....

She is living in a place that did not believe in the Living God... did her family also not believe?
She was a prostitute... did her family shun her for that or accept her for what she did?
She apparently was making a living for herself... where was her family's support?

But in exhange for protecting the Spies, she asked for kindness for her & her family because she showed kindness to them (Joshua 2:12) - she wanted to make sure her father, mother brother & sisters & all of THEIR family would be safe from death...  & it was agreed upon.

When the Fall of Jericho happened & all the men & women, young & old were killed, Rahab & her family were safe...

But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitue, with her family & all who belonged to her, because she hid the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho - & she lives among the Israelites to this day. -Joshuah 6:25

The actions of this one woman changed the lives of her family.  Did they believe now?  Did they have gratitude towards their daughter, sister, aunt, for protecting them?  Did they have a new respect for a woman who could have before brought shame to their family?  Most imortantly, did they NOW believe in the Living God?... what happened to them ... I wanna know!

We do know Rahab ended up living among the Israelites & had a son... after all, she's mentioned a few times in the Bible because of her faith - the most important, in the lineage of Christ!

We also see she married & the study I am doing suggests that it could have even been one of the spies that saved her who she married..... now there's a love story the movies could make!  The story of this woman's life...pretty cool....

But what a reminder that YOUR actions can affect others so strongly - protect them - possibly help them find Faith themselves in a Living God....

Welcome to "Complaing of the Stars"

We're on week 2 & this week, someone is going to get eliminated.  Could tonight make all the difference for someone? Because apparently, it would have been an "upset" if someone got voted off last week.  Rumor had it, Kate Goseelin was SAFE... are all the mom's out there going to push her through?  We'll see... but for now, we're LLIIIIVEEEEEEE

Up first - Shannen with an "e" & Mark... poor Mark is getting a litlte taste of the Shannen the tabloids like to talk about.  With her cursing at him & telling him she quits, poor Mark isnt even sure she's joking, asking "Are you serious?" - I think Mark just wants to know if he needs to run for his life here...They are attacking the Jive tonight & there's Mark with his Michael Jackson tribute again, sporting the high-waters & doing a crotch grab.  I'm talking more about him because I couldnt hardly bare to watch Shannen.  She looked so uncomfortable.  Her legs were a little off & she seemed to be a beat or two ahead or behind Mark... I personally thought it was a mess... dont see Miss Attitude lasting very long... Score - 7, 6, 7

Aiden & Edyta - So during practice, Aiden isnt grasping them moves & we see Edyta get frustrated & actually walk out.  I dont think we've ever seen Mrs. Leg Warmer get upset... he must have been really hard to teach.  He chases after her & talks in that accent... It was like a real soap opera...Edyta gets revenge against him by wearing the ugliest pink dress EVER.  Oh my - looks like a 1970's bridesmaids dress. Then add in a good hit to the face!  Dont make Mrs. Leg Warmers angry!!!!...  They have the Fox Trot & he actually did a decent job though.  The drama & soap opera attitude must work for him... I thought it was very nice...So far, I see him as the move improved of the week (& yeah, I know he's only the 2nd dancer) - Scores - 7, 6, 6

Evan & Anna - I'm still bummed he's with Anna... She just comes across so harsh & just a weird personality... hope it doesnt hurt him in voting.  Evans comes out looking like a T-bird from Grease & he's ready for the Jive.  The one thing about ice skaters - they move so smoothly & have a face that can really work the crowd.  Evan totally pulled it off - I actually smiled through the whole thing & was rooting for him.  He honestly looked so professional... GO EVAN!!!! I want this guy in the finals (even if Anna has to go with him)!!!!  Scores - 8, 8, 8

Niecy & Louis - I loved that Niecy heard Foxtrot & instantly thought she was going to have to pull out her "FOXY LADY"... but instead she learned she had to turn into a white man with Louis mirroring her.  They go that straightened out quick when Louis told her he didnt think she'd be graceful enough for ballroom.  He soon learned, all you have to do is talk about food & the smoothness of butter & he was speaking her language.  I love this lady... we speak the same language!...& mercy me - she was truly like BUT-AH... smooth smooth smooth... I'm excited beccause I think she's going to do so well in the competition... I'll keep saying it - I love me a funny gal!  Scores - 7, 7, 7

Jake & Chelsea - first.. I'm loving this picture because look at Tim Allen watching them in the audience.  Mr. Allen is probably disgusted too with the choice of Vienna... the face says it all! - We see yet ANOTHER practice where the professionals & the stars are butting heads.  Jake got all manly by saying "I'm not asking, but telling you..." when he wanted a move changed.  Love that Chelsea was all like "shut up bachelor boy - I dont want your rose! You do what I say"... They tackled the Jive & it was rough.  You can tell he was trying... it wasnt the best, but it was an A for effort... just glad that during the dance, we didnt have to hear that nervous laughter that Jake was trying to cover his screw ups with in practice... that was getting irritating.
Scores: 6, 7, 7

Buzz & Ashley - Can I say first, Ashley is the cutest little thing EVER! Why couldnt SHE be with Evan?  She's so patient & gentle & always with that smile.  What a true professional! ... They had the Fox Trot this week & while it again wasnt the best dancing, Carrie Ann is so right when she said its just an emotional tug.  You can feel everyone just cheering him on for who he is - not necessarily his dancing - but just that he's doing this.  Love that Len had respect for Buzz & wouldnt really give him a harsh critique... classy Len.  I applaud you!  Score - 4, 4, 4

Nicole & Derek - Nicole set the bar last week & I dont think she's going to have any problems with Latin dances either... I mean, have you seen this woman's body?  I think its MADE to wiggle... & yeah, mine wiggles too - but not in the way that hers does.  Life isnt fair... anyways, back to the dancing!  Nicole is very smart in realizing that pushing the bar will push the bad-mood-buttons on Len - but Derek is going for it in this contemporary Jive. And girlfriend can JIVE... I'm rooting for her too... I want an Evan & Nicole Finale!!!... Scores - 10, 8, 10... SHUT UP!!!! Week 2 - & we have 10's!!!!!!! Go Local Girl!!!!!

Erin & Maks - I didnt think she was that great last week, but apparently I'm the only one who felt that way.  They get the Fox Trot this time & she convinced me this week that I could have been wrong.  It was such a pretty dance & she totally made me jealous with her long legs.  But had to laugh because it seems like Len is tried of all the celebrities fighting with their professional dancers... Put up & shut up was Lens' advice!  And you know that when you make Maks clap for something you said, you said something fierce.
Scores: 8, 7, 8

Pam & Damian - So people either loved her or hated her... & I think she has pulled in a whole new set of watchers to the Dancing with the Stars family.  Namely, anyone MALE.  And this week, we see Pamela Anderson all cleaned up, looking like Marilyn Monroe.  Can the Fox Trot hold that much sex appeal?  My thoughts on Pam... I think she could be amazing if she would quit TRYING to act so sexy.  I mean, she is a beautiful woman - but she has this way about her that is trying to play that "dumb blond"... & I think that's a shame.  Again, I bet half the people love that... to each his own.  I do think she can dance though... just hate the image she feels like she has to portray to do it... Scores: 7, 7, 8

8+5 & Cheryl - We see this man is a flirt & Cheryl eating it up.  But maybe they are focusing more on the giddiness of flirting instead of dancing because they had the Fox trot & wow, it was really off somehow.  He was standing really weird, he wasnt moving very well - it was just kinda bad.  This love story may not last very long at all.... Scores: 6, 5, 5

Kate & Tony - OK... forget EVERYTHING about all the other professionals & stars... Kate is thinking Tony is Jon Gosselin & she's breaking out the old Kate we used to watch on TLC... & she's made my poor Tony break a gasket & he just took his mic off & quit?  Oh heck no... Kate - I kinda liked you & was rooting for you - but when you hurt Tony, I dont like you anymore...But Tony comes back & oh my... that dance... I'm almost speechless... I wanna give like her because she's such an underdog, but WOW... its like she doesnt have any rythmn in her at all... I was really shocked  she got higher scores then Buzz though really... Scores 5, 5, 5

So what did you think?  Is Kate going to end up going after tonight's mess?  What do you think about all the stars yelling at their professional partners?  Are you craving butter after the show?  I am... gotta go make some toast before bed....

Dance on Dance Lovers!

wanna see a failure?

Living in Kentucky, I have memories even being little of one thing that you have to do in this area... you may think I'm joking, but people take it very seriously around here... you have to decide who you will root for in basketball!  University of Louisville.... or the University of Kentucky!  Its a serious decision that you MUST make...
I can remember being little & my uncle being a DIE-hard UL fan so my family became a UK fan just for fun - just to argue with him about it.

You all know me - I honestly could care less... I never really made that "decision" because if someone wins or loses, most of the time, I dont even know about it...Go team - whoever you are...

This weekend though, UK went to the the Elite Eight & around these parts, oh man - you could feel the tension.  There were the UK fans who were DYING to win to go to the Final Four... & then the UL fans who were DYING for the Wildcats to take a fall... when UK ended up defeated, you could hear PRAISES, screams of JOY, celebration around the area... & to be fair - a lot of UK fans did that too when UL went down in the first round...

Now, believe me, I'm not going on a sports rant because if you know me, a sports rant is the LAST thing that would come from this girls mouth...

But I kept thinking about how excited everyone was to see someone else fail...

We live in a world where people LOVE to see others fall on their face...

Ask Jesse James - or Tiger Woods - or Lindsay Lohan ... they are HOT in the news because they've done something GOOD?  Nope!  Because they've screwed up & made mistakes.  People will camp around these people just waiting to watch them fail even more.

I'm going to admit - I have giggled & snickered when people I consider "mean" fail in things.... they make a mistake?  I'll point it out to them - GLADLY... why?  Because I enjoy their mistakes... that's wrong...I know that... but I know they enjoy MY mistakes... so why not wish it back on them...

Do you all do that too?  Am I alone in wishing "failures" on people?

Driving into work this morning, with all this going through my mind, I thought - you know what?  We are ALL children of God... & God never wants us to fail - never wants us to falter... He would NEVER cheer or root for a failure...why do we?  We screw up enough in our own lives - we dont need others wishing it on us...

So whether it be someone in your work place - someone in government - someone who is a celebrity - someone in your own personal life... lets root everyone ON for a change... wishing only the best for them... to see them suceed...

What a world THAT would look like!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you & not to harm you, plans to give you hope & a future." -Jeremiah 29:11

Project 365-11

Lets see what was through the lens this week:

March 21 - My favorite place at home.... It was the first time of the year for me to sit in my favorite place - on my front porch, in my rocker, with a book in my hands & a dog at my feet... doesnt get any better then that around my home...Dont know why Sydney wouldnt put her ears up...

March 22 - In the words of Lady Gaga - Just Dance! .... Oh yeah baby - the premiere of Dancing with the Stars.. excuse the messed up hair & the Snuggie around my shoulders... that's how I roll at my home when I relax..

Tuesday - My poor Ricky.... Yep - this day was a whirlwind... if you hadnt seen my post from earlier in the week, Ricky was in the ER... here's his hospital bracelet... dont want to see any more of these pictures!

Wednesday - Still #1.... wanted to take this picture before the next round of basketball took place.  I was number one in the brackets & needed proof for Ricky...I'm anxious to see where I'm at Monday after this weekend of b-ball is over...

March 25 - Edward .. Jacob... How I love thee!.... Yep, took me a few days, but got to Target after work to make sure I got my New Moon DVD... I think I just kept staring at the cover... love the look on Jacob's face.  Having this has just made me want to read Eclipse again...

March 26 - PURPLE DAY!!!!! ... if you see the post below, you know we were sporting purple for that precious Baby Emily!  And not only us, but a lot of you all sported the purple too - YOU ALL ROCK!  I know Erica & Joe were so amazed by the support from people they've never met.  So cool when bloggers can come together & support others... the best side of blogging!!!

March 27 - Stop my daddy!!!!.... Ricky went to go get the mail & what way does he do it?  On roller skates, of course!  What you cant tell is the driveway is pretty good decline so he was zooming down... Sydney got so nervous & was running after him to make sure he was OK... that dog worries about him worse then a mother!

Hope you all had lots to look at threw the lens!

Come on... grab your purple!!!

You all know this beautiful baby by now, right?  Emily is our friend Joe & Erica's baby... Be sure to stop HERE to keep updated on Emily's journey...

She has been diagnosed with Infantile Spasms - which is a form of Epilepsy... & tomorrow, Friday, is actually National Epilepsy Day.

Erica & Joe have said that so many people have asked what can they do to help.  They came up with a really neat idea.  They asked that people just wear purple on Friday - the color representing Epilepsy... (Actually, I think the official color is lavender, but hey, purple is purple)

But what Erica wants is for you to take a picture & either post it on  your blog & comment either here or on her blog & she's gonna take all those picture & put them together so when Emily grows up, she can see all the people who love her & support her... & support all those who are like her.. fighting a fight that no one so small should have to fight...

So, you wanna join along?  Come on - purple is HOT right now...

Just be sure to either post a picture of you in your purple on your blog, or just send me or Erica a link to your picture... just click "About me" to get my email address if you'd just rather send it directly!

We're going to punch Seizures - Spasms - Epilpesy - all of it - in the face one day!!!

Random Dozen

Ohhh - one of my favorite subjects - SPRING... let's look at the dozen questions this week.

1.  What is your favorite sign of Spring?
When the trees start to get their bloom & that pretty bright color starts coming out - greens, & pinks, whites & purples... ahhh - color back in our lives!!

2. Did you remember to spring forward March 14th? If not, how did it impact your day?
Oh yeah... I remembered... & I was tired.  I had to be at church at 8 am... which when you spring forward, makes the time really 7 am....that was one long day at church... lots of yawning...

3. If soil, time, talent and climate were no problem, what vegetable would you plant in a garden this year?
Peppers... I love peppers... are they easy to grow?  I'm thinking about doing some container gardening - can I do that with peppers?  I've gotta look into that...

4. If soil, time, talent and climate were no problem, what fruit would you plant?
Bananas - smoothies, banana bread, PB & bananas... good for running too...

5. What is your least favorite insect?
Does someone HAVE a favorite insect?  Hmmm.... I dont mind insects - as long as they arent in MASS doses.  Like ants in bunches make me itch... (doesnt this picture make you want to start scratching?)

6. March 22 was World Water Day. To celebrate, here are some water questions. Do you drink bottled water? If so, what brand?
I do prefer bottled water, because our water from our tap tastes like something that you SHOULDNT drink.. nasty!  I like Nestle water... & even I really like the Kroger brand water.  I hate Aquafina & Evian... for some reason, the cheaper waters make me happy.  The more expensive ones have a funny taste to me.

7.  Have you ever been somewhere that it was not safe to drink the local water? If so, how did you handle that?.... my house - see the above answer!  :)  Well, OK, its SAFE here... but no, I havent been anywhere where its not SAFE... isnt that like Mexico or a 3rd world country?  You've all heard I dont like to fly - so you can imagine I havent been to any of those areas.

8.  How many glasses of water do you drink per day?
I drink usually at last 4-5... but trying to drink ONLY water during the day... not doing too well with that... but when I run or work out, I really down it...refreshing!

9. March 24 is the birthday of Harry Houdini. Have you ever watched a professional magic show? Share
Yep - seen David Copperfield a few times... A-MAZ-ING!!! When Ricky & I were dating, we had front row seats to him... & I actually CRIED in the show - it was so touching & beautiful with some of the tricks he does....And saw Lance Burton in Vegas.  He's a local guy who made it big so when we went there, we got front row seats & we even got to talk to him during the show.  Pretty cool... I was all gabby & talking - Ricky was hunkering down in his seat, embarassed...

10.  Have you ever been a participant in a professional magic show (up on stage!)?

Nope... would be too afraid I'd mess it up...would love the secret of it all though...

11.  March 24 is also the birthday of Steve McQueen and Clyde Barrow. Do you like Westerns or gangster movies? If so, what is your favorite?
I dont even know who Steve McQueen & Clyde Barrow are!!!  So that probably tells you if I like Westerns... I thought Steve McQueen was a motorcycle guy?  I'm so confused...

12. (Really random) What U.S. state that you've never visited would you like to visit someday?
New York & head to New York City!!! Ricky said he would NEVER want to go there... but I would love to see a Broadway show there - the big city lights... anyone wanna go with me?

Heartaches....

Yesterday was kind of a crazy day...

We just get to bed, probably asleep for 30 minutes & Ricky wakes me up with the most startled look on his face.  "Wake up - I think I'm having a heart attack"... nothing like that to jolt you from asleep to awake in 0.0002 seconds!

His said his left arm felt like it filled up with water & he couldnt raise it & it was hurting & his heart didnt feel right.  I laid my hand on his chest & I've never felt a heart racing so fast in my life... & remember, I'm running now & my heart can get pretty fast... his heart doubled that pace...

We jump in the car in probably 0.0025 seconds & I am zooming down the road.  70 mph, on country roads - running red lights - I'm doing what I gotta do to get to the ER.  That's the only bad thing about living out away from everything.  That drive can seem like forever when you HAVE to get there fast...

He gets in the ER - they take him back right away - do a EKG on him & it was so fast, they had him in a trauma room.  People were surrounding him - giving him aspirin, putting on a nitro patch, taking blood - it was like someone hit the fast forward button & things were just moving so fast...

Next thing, they came in & told him that his EKG results came back abnormal & he would be admitted & more tests ran.  At this point, Ricky was scared... making me scared...

Then he just started talking - conversations you dont ever want to really have with your spouse.  He started getting upset & saying that he felt like he was going to die.  He wanted to assure me he loved me & would always love me - he wanted me to do things for him, messages to pass on - I just kept telling him to stop it, he would be fine.. then he wanted to call his daughters & tell them he loved them in case something were to happen.  It didnt matter it was 2 am - he said he had to tell them how much they meant to him.  ... it was a rough night emotionally...

The nurses assured him he was in the best care & he was going to be alright, but once Ricky is upset - it takes more then that to calm him down...

Then it was a waiting game... we were still in the trauma room since there was no room on the cardiology floor.  We were in that room from midnight until 6:30 am... Luckily, they had a room open in the ER that had a real bed for him & a more comfortable chair for me... it felt like Heaven & we got about a half hour of sleep...

The cardiologist finally arrived & tests were ran on Ricky.

They did a stress test & this is the story of Ricky - his heart was BETTER while he ran for 15 minutes!  How funny is that!  But the cardiologist was assuring to him & let him know he was going to be just fine...

In the end, they said that he had an abnormal heartbeat... Ricky is a VERY VERY VERY worrisome person.  The smallest things make him worry to such a degree...they said that could have been a factor in his heart getting out of rhythm.  Then add in the amount of caffeine he had that night & the doc said it was like a perfect storm of making the body feel like a heart attack.

He said with that combo, it truly would make the heart feel like a heart attack - exactly like the real thing - & the whole body would even react like a heart attack (which caused his arm to hurt & do what it did as well)... then, being a worrier & stressed person anyways, that aggravated the out of rhythm heart - which just kept this circle going... which ended us up at the hospital... so in the end, the doc said Ricky's body felt like it would do with an actual heart attack, but there was no damage done to the heart...Praise the Lord!

They wanted him to get on beta blockers to help with the rhythm, but Ricky refused... I dont blame him - I know it'll make him feel slower then normal & if he can control his stress - which affects his heart - then he will be just fine.. its just getting him to that point...

So, we got to head home feeling much better... & I'm actually glad this whole event happened as a good wake up call for him.  Ricky needs to realize how stress hurts the body & how he eats (Mr. Sugar.. or as the nurse called him, Mr. Kit-Kat) affects him as well...

We went home & both of us knocked out for a nap... a half hour of sleep isnt good for anyone...

Life is back in swing today... it was quite a day....

Jiggly Parts, Spanish Lesson & Tacky at its finest... we're DANCING!

Oh - Spring is coming, flowers are blooming, & Dancing with the Stars is back on... The world cant be a better place right now.

I think we're all familiar with who is on the show this year... But as I look at these names, I have to wonder if someone just didnt flunk spelling in their high school years & wanted revenge to anyone who was blogging this thing.  After all, here is some example of last names of the contestants - Lysacek, Scherzinger, Ochocinco, Pavelka...& we're not talking about the Russian pros here.  We even have some wacky FIRST names:  Buzz, Niecy, & the one that bugs me the most, Shannen with an "E" - not an "O"... that just gets under my skin.... maybe that's what has made her so "moody" through her career... she just wants a normal first name.

So I am ready to see these people come out of the gates... lets do this... LIIIIVVVEEEE!!!!

8+5 and Cheryl - Or OchoCinco - or Chad.. I think I'll call him 8+5... my Spanish has paid off!
He wasnt as good as I expected him to be, but I will say, he can dance... he can feel the beat to the music, for sure.. & I cant say anything bad about Cheryl - she's the official spokes person for Jazzercise...And is it me, or does his voice sound a little like Mike Tyson?...Score: seis, seis & seis...

Shannen with an "E" & Mark - Who knew she was so nervous about being in front of people?  Keep the Benadryl ready... or just get her angry & in a fight.  I'm sure she looses all nerves then....curious why they both have on black gloves.  Mark looks like he could commit a crime in the all-black & gloves... Dancing, Shannen with an "E" did better then I expected... & even attempted a pretty tricky move.  But she looked a nervous wreck.  And look at her working the Kelly Osbourne side of her dad in the audience - ahh... he even shed some tears...Score:  6, 6, 6

Oh snap... there's a Jazzercise commercial!!!!  We've hit the big time!!!!!

Erin Andrews & Maksim - Maks... dude has the chics yelling at him... what's up with that?  I guess his engagement breakup has made him even more heart-throbby?....  we get our first taste of fringe of the season & in our favorite Big Bird Color... On the dancing side, girlfriend has some LLOONNNG legs - but I didnt thinks she did all that great.  The judges seemed to think she was decent - but I thinks she has a LOOONNNG way to go... I think the fringe must have flown into their eyes... Score: 7, 7, 7

Jake & Chelsie... Oh ugh... Vienna...& they have the VIENESSE waltz?  Is that suppose to tie together?  BLAH...So the dance is to the song "Kissed by a rose"... at least it wasn't "On the Wings of Love" (All you Bachelor fans will get that)... He did better then I thought he would do, even thought he wiped Chelsie's hair out of place.  The weird moment of the night - Gia, someone Jake LOVED, sitting next to his fiance... awww-wkwardddd!  Scores: 7, 6, 7

Niecy & Louie - I love me a funny girl...  I also love me a girl who is confident in who they are - "jiggly parts" & all!!!...  I think all the women are going to love her just because she's a "real" gal... I think she was shocked that the crowd loved her like they did - a long way from the chubby girl in the corner!  Go Niecy!  Scores:  7, 5, 6

Evan & Anna - If we know anything about ice skaters on the dance floor, we know they rock it.  Kristi set up big shoes to fill & I'm going in this season thinking this guy can pull it out again for ice skaters... Fingers crossed for him!...And no need for it - he was amazing!  So smooth & nice... just wondering if he can pull off the Latin stuff next week... He is such a sophisticated looking guy... Really rooting him.. even though I'm not a fan of Anna... wish he was with Kim this year - it would have been a winning team!  Scores: 8, 7, 8

Buzz Lightyear & Ashley... & I know he's Buzz Aldrin - but how do you NOT call him Buzz  Lightyear?  Dude is a real spaceman!... you gotta give it to the guy, 80 years old?  That's awesome!  And he looks still built & in fantastic shape!  Love seeing Ashley back too - she's just adorable! ....I was so afraid he was going to fall & break a hip though... but I agree with Bruno, how do you criticize a true hero? Kudos for him for even getting out & trying! ... Scores, 5, 4, 5

Nicole & Derek... This is the one couple I'm hoping makes it to the finals.  Nicole is a hometown girl who grew up in Louisville so gotta give her a big rooting for.  Plus, I would think she can dance - being a Pussycat Doll & everything.  Isnt that like a job requirement, to be able to dance? .....And she didnt disappoint me in anyway... she was so graceful... & am going to love her & Derek together... Carrie Ann said it "The bar has been set".. but then Len had to go all Mr. Grumpy-mcgrumpison....Wasnt he the one who hated Mya last year too?  Think he has issues with pop singers? .. Scores: 9, 7, 9 (NINES?  AWESOME!!)

OK - those AT&T cell phone commercials are HILARIOUS!!! "A 41 yr man just signed up for Kar-a-te" - nothing funnier!

Aiden & Edyta - From the beginning, when I seen girlfriend in a coat, I know she's almost nude underneath...wanna take bets?....well, she has on more then I thought.  But wow, I'm kinda sad because Aiden is one good looking man & even has an accent - & who doesnt love an accent - but Edyta, it doesnt look like its going to be a mirror ball trophy for you again this year... Scores: 5, 5, 5

Kate & Tony - well, I know most people have been waiting to see this since it was announced.  I know she doesnt have a lot of fans, but I just hope she does decent to make her loser ex-huband jealous!  haha!... well, its what we expected - she's not the best, seemed kinda stiff, & I just dread the Latin round for her...but I felt bad for her when Bruno was smashing her.  She was shooting him the evil eye too... but Carrie Ann is right - she's no athlete - she's not used to "performing" - this has got to be hard for her - so I'll give that to her...Scores: 6, 5, 5

Pam &  Damian.... This girl looks FRIED!  Her hair is a mess - she has looked angry all night - she's throwing rose petals before commercials - this is going to be interesting.  I just hope she knows there is not a pole in the middle of the floor...Oh my... HOT MESS is the only words I can think of.  How could she even see through her hair... wow... the way she acted was really tacky.  I honestly think she is drunk or high or something... I do think though she's definitely going to bring some men into watching the show..Scores 7, 6, 8

So what did you think?  Brooke do good as the new host?  Like the new room where the dancers get no privilege of sitting through the show?  Feel like you need to cover your children's eyes when Pamela Anderson is dancing?

Healthcare Reform.... do what?

I dont even claim to know to understand what's going on in Washington or with the government.  Its never been anything I ever paid any attention to... I know some people probably shake their head at me on that... but I ask them, "Do you know the best yarn out there?" .... joking... kinda... but I really dont give things of the government much thought...

But I see this morning on the news (which I also try to avoid - & I promise, I'm not a hippie) the big stories of the Healthcare Reform passing overnight...

So I'm asking you all to give me a quick summary... your opinions - what is this going to mean for me?  Or should I even care?

Project 365-10

Another look into the week of Rebecca Jo:

March 14 - More Clowns????.... Went to visit baby Emily again & wanted to take another picture of a clown for you all... this one not as scary to you?  How about it if came ALIVE & walked out of the box?  its a puppet - so yeah, clowns + a puppet = perfect combo for a horror movie... Who designed this hospital?  Stephen King?

March 15 - "I'm Not That Girl".... getting geared up for Wicked by picking up this CD.  Ever since, its the ONLY thing that has been in my car.  I'm addicted to this thing.... & with Spring air & windows down - I'm sharing the love of Wicked with everyone riding by...

March 16 - Count me in!...Yep - got our census that we keep hearing all about - completed & in the mail.  Easy to do when its just two people...

March 17 - Happy St. Patrick's Day...... Yep, got my green on... green is one of my favorite colors so I loved seeing everyone all decked out... Made me feel like the land of Oz all around me ... See, this Wicked Soundtrack is sinking in WAYYYY too deep.

March 18 - Too beautiful a day for a Hospital Stay!.... stopped by to see my friend Kelly in the hospital & just had to take a picture of the hospital & the sky... This hospital is pretty new & I think its a beautiful building... but the sky is the most awesome thing... Spring was in the air...

March 19 - Let the games begin!!!.... I wasnt even going to play a bracket... but 98% of the people at work picked Kansas.  So I thought as long as I pick ANYONE but Kansas, I have a decent chance of winning the jackpot - & who doesnt love a jackpot of cash?  And as of Friday, I was in first place!!! HA!  Proof that you need to know NOTHING about basketball to win a bracket!

March 20 - Ricky, I didnt die.... This is AFTER the race, so excuse the hair - but I had a 10k today & really enjoyed it.  The weather was perfect & the run felt decent.  I actually took 2 Alleve before the race so my thigh wasnt that painful.  And I had another really decent time FOR ME - and I kept reminding myself that this time around - it wasnt about my time with the first place runner or the last person crossing the line - it was just about MY time verses ME... It made me really enjoy the run a lot more without the pressure.  But I honestly cant believe I even ENJOY running... as Ricky told me this morning as he saw me off & told me "please dont die" - he also said "I still cant believe this is you" - I'll take that as a compliment!

Hope everyone has had some wonderful moments that needed a camera to capture the moment!
