Honk if you love Jesus!


My dad sent me this comic & I thought it was funny...

I gotta admit, I'm bad about texting while driving myself.. &  I can tell its dangerous!  I'm all swerving on the road... but I make a point now only to do it when I'm stopped at a light or when its a lone road where no one is around & I can drive 5 mph while I send a message...

    HONK! And yes, I do text and drive though I try not to especially since it's ILLEGAL in Utah! But sometimes you just have something to say! :)

    It's illegal here in VA, but the penalty is like $20 - and only if you are pulled over for something else. So, not much of a deterrent. I know it's terrible, but I have an addiction!

    We don't have texting on our phones because we never used it, but I do have internet access on my blackberry. Whenever Chris and I are in the car together he'll try to check his sports updates on my phone, and I'll have to grab the phone away because he isn't paying attention to his driving! He's bad! People who text and drive scare me!

    No texting while driving for me RJ. I've seen those reports on TV. It's just too distracting for me.

    Be careful girly!! I have never done it but I fear my 19 year old does and I'm always preaching for him NOT to do this!! Scares the bajeebers out of me!

    I used to. It was hard NOT to. As of December 1st, it's now illegal here which helps...if I catch myself doing it (like this afternoon) I just remind myself I'm breaking the law!
