Vacation... or otherwise called "Wormpalooza"

So I'm back to work... after vacation... that wasn't really a vacation...

Nothing turned out as planned on vacation... why?  Because of this cute little face...

We had to take in a stool sample for Harvey & I caught it right when I got home on Friday... drove it up to the vet ... & before I even got home, they had called & told Ricky that he had worms.  Hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms... the trifecta of worms.

So there goes boarding for the little fellow... we were going to board him while we went to Gatlinburg for a few days.  But of course, dogs have to have a clean record before anyone will take them... which I totally understand... I wouldn't want my clean dogs going to a boarding place & coming home with worms.

So we ended up not going...

It made us stressed out because we knew all of our plans had changed...  not to mention we were now worried about our other dogs getting the worms.

We went on WORM WATCH 2013...

Every day was full of picking up poop, checking for worms, keeping the dogs separate... it was quite a vacation...

My co-worker said, "So you can say it was a Sh*#y vacation?"... well, never thought of it that way, but seems appropriate...

We ended up having to take the other 3 dogs to the vet to get worm tested & we went ahead & got their heart worm medicine for the next year.... yeah, so there went our vacation budget.  The vet actually left the room before they gave us the total cost for the trip because she said she didn't want to be the bad guy.  You KNOW its bad when that happens.

Its an adventure to take 3 dogs in the vet at the same time too... AND to have the vet that helped us be the same vet that was the one who put Buffy to sleep...

It called for a trip to the park for the 3 dogs ... they're vacation was kinda destroyed too

So vacation didn't go as planned... at all...

But it was nice to be off the regular 7-4 job... gave me time to edit up the wedding pictures...

so.... my vacation was spent picking up poop & working all week in front of a computer anyways...

Yeah.... I need a vacation....
