3 things

So this was going around like 3 months ago....
who says I'm on time for anything - NO ONE!!!!
But at least I play along... eventually....

Welcome to Tuesday - the day my brain is like mush - so enjoy learning a little more about me.

Three things I'd never give up
Having dogs, being a vegetarian & my wedding ring

Three favorite vegetables
Peppers, cauliflower & broccoli
...preferably the last two covered in cheese! ;)

Three shows I watched faithfully from beginning to end
LOST, Ugly Betty & Santa Barbara
(anyone else remember that soap opera? I used to LOVE that one.  80's soap opera at its finest!!!)

Robin Wright before House of Cards

Three places I want to visit inside the US
New York City - Denver, Co - & of course, Harry Potter World in Universal Studios
(you know I'd say Disney but I've been there & went for places I haven't been before)

Three places I want to visit outside the US
First... let's get a reality check. This girl aint going outside of the US unless I had to because me & travel? We're not friends.
But... if I could magically transform to some place, this is where I'd go:

Paris, France - the Holy Lands - & London, England so I could hunt down Will & Kate

Three things I always have with me
Reading glasses, a book & my phone

Image result for always have a book with me

Three things that are always in my car
A blanket (for car break down AND for photo sessions) - CD's (Yes, I'm old school & use actual CD's) & a FEW half empty water bottles

Image result for still use cd

Three most recent phone calls were to/from
Actual phone calls?  Who does that anymore?  I text more than talk... but if we're going with talking....

Ricky, Chasity & the nurse from my doctor's office

Three books I read and loved in college
Trick question since I didn't finish college... so I'll go with books I read when I was "college age"....

Thorn Birds, When Heaven Weeps & Harry Potter
(man, those could NOT be any more different from one another)

Three most often used makeup products

Three things that make me cry
Anything about my animals being sick or dying / health insurance & medical woes /  Regret

... I hate that ends on such a downer, so I'm adding in my own just because...

Three shows on Netflix I'm just getting around to
Gilmore Girls (Still on season 1) / want to check out Arrested Development / Also got turned onto Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries from Kristen that I'm getting into as well

  1. Now you make me want to watch Santa Barbara! I faithfully watched Days of our lives when I was in college but stopped once I graduated cus let's face it, who's home at 1:00pm to watch (and I didn't have Dvr). I would like to start watching that old 80's series Dynasty! I always loved the theme music..lol

  2. Okay - so I got through the first 2 or 3 seasons of LOST & then I got bored. I've always wanted to get back into it, but it just got slow. I'm currently watching Blacklist on Netflix - I read about those murder mysteries! are they good? And I also want to see Harry Potter @ Universal!!

  7. I just started watching Miss Fisher's too and I am OBSESSED! I need to figure out how to get K onboard so I'm not limited to watching when he's not home... haha!
I will never give up having dogs either, haha! And get yourself to HP World!

  8. Oh my gosh, Ugly Betty!!! I loved that show! Michael and I are talking about taking a weekend away and our choices are Denver and Harry Potter World!! Haha! (But the HP World in California, because it'd be a short trip so the long flight/time difference to the FL one would be too much, even though it's bigger and better.)

  9. Ew cauliflower. That is the one vegetable I wont eat besides okra. Bleh! I want to go to Disney and Harry Potter world! never been to either. I am with you, I probably wont make it over to Europe because I am not a huge traveler either. I need to check out Miss Fisher's too because Kristen talked it up so much.

  12. Oh my gosh, we LOVED Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. Have watched all of them and sure wish more would come out. Nice that I'm not the only person who laughs hysterically when someone (myself included) falls down. Slapstick comedy makes me giggle all the time. A fun post!!

  13. Oh I love this. I have a copy in my draft folder that I will get to doing some day! The question that always throws me and embarrasses me terribly is what I read in college. My memory is going and I can't remember! :) I'm not a big amusement park person but I want to see Harry Potter world too and have a few butterbeers.

  14. These are great! And I'll play along ... but it'll be awhile before I actually get around to posting anything, as usual. :) I loved Santa Barbara! I remember watching that one and Days of Our Lives ... back when times were simpler and hair was bigger.

  16. We're almost finished with season one of GG for the first time, and I've gotta say---I think we're in it for the long haul. What about you? Are you sucked in enough to watch all the seasons?

  17. I remember Santa Barbara being on, but I never watched it. I was more of a DOOL fan back in the 80s, hehe. Never seen Lost either, other than the pilot!

  18. This is a fun post. :) I'm super young... or so people tell me... so I don't know of this Santa Barbara show. But it looks like my first Barbies. hehe so I can get the nostalgia.. Um, Gilmore Girls has most of my heart. If I'm being honest. We are watching through with a group of friends and are on season 4. My favorite. The best (IMHO) are 3-5. :) Long flights are not my favorite thing, but I do love to travel. I like your lists. I would also add Sherlock/Benedict Cumberbatch to the list of folks to look for in London. -hehe kidding.... sorta.. ;) Will Farrell is hit or miss for me. A lot of the super popular ones are not my favorite.. but Superstar is my all-time favorite movie and I think he is hilarious in it. I also really like Blades of Glory (no idea why!), and Stranger Than Fiction (which is not typical Will Farrell..) hehe I'm weird! I definitely still use CDs too... :) XO - Alexandra

  21. Loved Lost! I just finished Gilmore Girls and I finished Arrested Development a year or so ago. Great shows. I love Europe, but understand why you wouldn't go overseas. Love getting to know people, especially you, through these surveys!
