So I'm working on pictures... told you to be ready... so here are a few of the zoo day we had...
& remember, I'm being generous not showing you ALL the zoo pictures! But I've got to be the Nanny that I am & brag on how beautiful these boys are...
First stop at the zoo was a tiger right in front of us, chewing on a bone... & the tiger had blood all over his face from the bone. Isaac just kept staring... all the while hanging tight onto Pappy's hand..
Then it was off to ride on top of the Kimono Dragon... what little boy doesnt love a dragon? Especially this little boy who loves a camera too! (which I'm so thankful for!)
We got to go into the cage where the birds fly all around us... Isaac wasnt sure about it AT ALL... but they started landing on Ricky & Isaac wanted to get close, but still not touch. He just kept staring at the birds & smirking at them... he really loved when one landed right on Pappy's head & was eating his hair. I wish I could bottle that little laughter...
Here is Isaac running to his mommy yelling "PEE PEE PEE PEE" .... ah, the joys of a newly potty trained little boy! But he made it in time! So all was well! He had such a knack at telling us when he had to go... giving us a 10 second warning... 10 seconds should be plenty of time - right?
And while Luke couldnt walk around yet, he was still enjoying all the things of the zoo... especially not having to walk around! Whew! Let me in that stroller Mr. Smiley!!!! Look at that face.... dont you just want to kiss all over it... I loved kissing his cheeks because he would lean into you & he just loved it... So what's a Nanny to do, but to make him hapy.
Luckily, Pappy could keep up with Isaac... they were running all over the place... I mean RUNNING! Ricky would take off & hide & Isaac would run to find him & then they'd be off to the next round of hiding... Here they are on the playground... My excuse was "I'm holding the camera" which is why I couldnt run... (It worked too as an excuse!) haha!
Julie got to change Luke & take a minute to get him out of the stroller while the 2 boys were playing on the playground... isnt this a sweet moment with mommy & her baby boy?
What is Isaac looking at?
The Elephants... he loved them the last time he came to the zoo & was all about watching them again. Between these big guys & the giraffe's, I think they may be his favorite...
I fell in love with this "Prayer of the Woods" ... they were on 4 different poles with a prayer about the trees in the woods & in forest... I love what this one says ..."I am the wood to your cradle, & the shell of your coffin" ... it was all so beautiful... & the last one, you can maybe make out - but it ended the prayer with "Harm me not" .... I want to go put this on every tree someone wants to knock down for no reason!!!!
It was a tiring day - let me tell you... But priceless...
All of these pictures are so great....but I think that first one might just be my favorite. Such a perfect moment you captured there.
