Now that's a long time!

Today, I have been at my job for 17 years.... did you hear that? 17 years!!!

WOW... 17 years is longer than a whole span of education...

When I started, I wasnt even married... I was just 20 years old... I've AGED in this building!

What's crazy is its basically the same people who I'm still working with!  That's a long time to be around people!

So in a world that holds a lot of instability in the job market - I'm thankful today for my job.... even though I started as a young single lady & am now sitting here a much more "mature" woman who hides my grey!

  1. You are so so right, I'm so incredibly grateful to just have a job..... I've been receptionist now at a law office going on 7 years, and do I want to get out from behind a desk? Yes. But do I feel blessed to have a desk that I can sit at? EXTREMEMLY!!!!
