Hodgepodge

1. Expect the unexpected on From This Side of the Pond. Here's my x-ray question...when was the last time you felt like Superman? What's your superpower? Explain.  

Probably the time I felt like I could do anything was when I crossed the finish line at a Half marathon... which was a few years ago. But its a feeling that sticks with you - & makes me want to try it again... one day.

2. Are you a fan of the 'superhero' type movies? If so what's your favorite? 

I live with a man who lives & breaths Superhero things so I love them all.  I loved all the Avengers movies! But I also have a sweet spot for X-men because when Ricky & I were dating, we would watch the Saturday morning cartoons of it.  I can hear the theme song in my head now just typing it.  Plus, when my guy, Hugh Jackman became Wolverine - YESSS!!! - it made it even better.

3. Have you postponed or cancelled a trip to the dentist in recent weeks, and if so when do you think you'll feel comfortable going back? How about other routine medical procedures? 

I usually cancel EVERY dentist appointment - COVID or not.
I'm one of those people that tend to go to the doctor only when my arm is falling off. They make me anxious - for news to receive & yes, I'm one of those people that think of all the germs around. SICK GERMS at that. Ugh.

4. What's something that makes you feel youthful? Something that makes you feel 'not so youthful'? Tell us why.

Hanging with my HSM kiddos also makes me NOT feel youthful when I have no idea what they're talking about - LOL!  Tik Tok is all the rage right now & I'm still not even on the Snapchat train so I'm really falling behind.

5. I feel compelled to include some sort of corona related question in the HP these days. What's the strangest thing you've seen in relation to the virus? Something that really struck you as odd, made you stop and think, 'Dorothy we're not in Kansas anymore?'

Me doing all this cooking & baking... that's enough to make me feel like the world is coming to an end.

If y'all can lift up a prayer for our old guy Bruno... I think we're getting near the end.  & yes, I know I've said that for the past few years, but I think he's getting tired at this point.  He's 3 months away from turning 20.  He has every right to be tired.  Always my little man.
