Well, first, I thought I was going to be smart & chugged 3 BIG ole' glasses of Diet Big Red - get that heart pumping so he can heart what's going on.....
I go in - my blood pressure was 110/72 & my heart rate was 74..... PERFECT.... my EKG came out PERFECT.... he said it sounded like there were no problems at all..... of course!!! I was telling him how my heart rate has been sky high & the feeling it has been. Well - he was concerned when I told him about the absess that I had in my gums with all the dental nightmare I had. So he sent me down to the lab for some tests to make sure that the infection didn't get to my heart - there's actually a name for that - cardiosomethingorother - yeah, I think that's it....
So those results will be faxes to him when they get back & I have to go back December 19th for an ultrasound of my heart.
And my brilliant idea - yeah, my heart has been pumping like a manic all night last night - & into this morning, its still going!!! So when my ultrasound comes around - I'll be drinking Big Red the DAY BEFORE!!!!! Live & learn.....
Thanks for all the thoughts, concern & prayers.... it really means the world to me!!!
Hopefully the doctor will be able to find the problem and come up with a treatment that will help.ReplyDelete
Will be keeping you in our thoughts for the 12-19 appt.ReplyDelete
I love the new look.
I'm glad everything checked out okay.ReplyDelete
You know, your dental problems may actually have something to do with this. Hopefully they can figure it out.
My cousin is on a heart transplant list and the doctors wouldn't even put him on that list until all his teeth were pulled! He had to get dentures at 24 years old! So I do think dental problems could be linked to the heart somehow.
I'll keep praying for you buddy!
I will continue to pray!!ReplyDelete
I'm glad he didn't find anything...that's a good thing!!ReplyDelete
Hang in there sweet one. I'll be praying for you.
Have a Blessed day,
Thanks for the prayers guys!!!ReplyDelete
Chandra - your right - I'm THRILLED nothing stood out - but it FEELS like something's wrong so that's what makes it frustrating...
but what are you going to do? Especially when my heart behaved so well during the doctor's appointment! It's playing games with me!:-)
Sorry to see you are having such scarey problems. I pray all goes well for you.ReplyDelete
Thanks for coming over to see me. Funny thing I popped in yesterday for a minute. Don't think I left a comment though. Your name caught my attention because I love to knit, among other things.
Glad you liked my blog and hope you will return for more reading.
Opps, I did leave a comment yesterday. Guess it is to early for me this morning. Either that or I am just getting old and do not remember things any more. No that is my mother not me!!!ReplyDelete

Hey, when you get your ultrasound, will you find out if your heart is a boy or a girl?
Well, I know in a way it's good that everything looked okay, but I totally know how you feel....like you just know that something isn't right.ReplyDelete
I will continue to pray that your doctor will be able to find out what's going on, either through the labwork or the ultrasound on the 19th. :)
Hope everything continues to go well.ReplyDelete
I didn't know you were having heart problems! I will be praying for you!!ReplyDelete
I'm glad you're doing well! Hooray!ReplyDelete
I hope he can figure that out. It's got to be annoying at the least. Glad your results came back perfect. Praying for you!ReplyDelete
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong my dear friend. Can't wait to hear your heart update next week.ReplyDelete
I'm glad that everything checked out OK, but I hope that the doctors can get to the bottom of why you are feeling the way you have been feeling.ReplyDelete
I am thinking that the doctor probably wanted to rule out Bacterial Endocarditis. Does that sound familiar? That's why we have to premedicate many of our patients with heart "issues" with antibiotics prior to dental treatment.
Keep us posted on how you're doing and I'll be praying for you and your next appointment.
Well, I'm glad they didn't find anything, but I know how frustrating that can be at the same time.ReplyDelete
