Cleaning the day while husband's away!!!
Ricky has gone to the UK Football game in Cincinnati with some guys from his work today... that leaves me at the house all by myself... the PERFECT opportunity to clean! I honestly enjoy cleaning when he's away... I can get so much more done. I can toss things more easily & clean & not have it trashed by the time I turn around... is it a guy thing to go right behind & mess up a clean counter? is it a husband thing to throw socks in a clean, vacuumed floor? Or is it just me?

That's exactly what I'm doing today. Making a clean slate for the girls to destroy.

ReplyDeleteThat is so true; it does seem easier to clean when the hubby is away and teenage son......hehe. I guess its cleaning day for all of us, I know for me it is =) Have a GREAT weekend!!!

I was going to argue with you that cleaning is never enjoyable...but it is WAY more enjoyable when no one else is around to question or bother you!
ReplyDeleteI just finished cleaning! Mopped, dusted, the whole nine yards. I even cleaned out my closet!! Something must be in the air with all this cleaning going on!

ReplyDeleteYep, the men are like mini tornadoes leaving chaos in their wake. Which is why I avoid all cleaning on the weekend. It just gets right back out of order within minutes.
