But for those of you who hadnt heard - & for the fact that we just want to brag a bit more - I wanted to share.
Our girl, Julie, is now a DOCTOR!!!!! Dr. Julie Bohannon - doesnt that just sound awesome? Have a incredible ring to it?
... I think I will now call her, Dr. J ...
Yep - she had her final presentation last night before the Board & though it had some mental straining involved & nerves & stress... she survived - & PASSED...
She officially has her PhD in Biomedical Research.
What does that mean?
First of all, it means she's pretty awesome!
Second, I always tell everyone she's going to find the cure for cancer! ... well maybe not cancer, BUT SHE COULD! She's already working on research for burn patients that has gotten attention in the medical field! How dang impressive is that? And she's on top of her game with all things "immune" ... all of this stuff just makes my mind feel like its going to explode.
But she did it! All the while giving birth to two gorgeous babies & raising them... being a mom & a wife & a daughter .... GO JULIE!!!
I wish everyone could have seen Ricky last night... with Julie in Texas, I was talking to him about it all & his face was just shining with pride. There is just nothing like seeing a proud parent, is there?
We cant wait to see where God leads her now - because
she WILL make a difference in this world...
We're just keeping fingers crossed that God is thinking of this Nanny & Pappy & that means there is a job closer to our house. :)
Congratulations Julie... you worked so hard... & YOU DID IT!!!!!!
We love you & are high fiving you from all the way up here!
