If Nobody Believed in You

First, let me say from the beginning - I know NOTHING about country music. Yes, I was born & raised in Kentucky - but I dont know the difference between a fiddle & and a violin...

My brother sent me an email with this song & its amazing... I have to say, that my brother knows country music sorta freaks me out too. He was a ZZ Top, John Cougar Mellencamp sorta guy growing up... but I guess age does that... hehe!!

But the words of this song are just so powerful! And it maybe a popular country song - I have no idea... I've never even heard of this man, Joe Nichols - but am now in love with this song...

"Tell me, how would you feel?
You'd probably give up too, if nobody believed in you"

That so many people dont believe in others - or as the song says - in GOD! How this song touched my heart...

And for those of you out there who are suffering discourgement - know that GOD NEVER GIVES UP ON YOU!!! He's ALWAYS believing in the good in you & the possibilities that you can do with his help!

"I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me" (Phillipians 4:13)!!!

  1. I'm so glad you got the video up...I have tears rolling down my face right now! What a beautiful song and such a great message! I have always tried to instill in my girls that I beleive in them and I know they can accomplish any goal they set out to reach. I tell them to strive for greatness...whatever that may mean. They're always going to know that I'll be in their corner cheering them on! Just like God does for each of us who believe in HIM!

  2. Ok, Talk about a way to start a Monday morning. Love Joe Nichols and that song! It drives me crazy when I see my daughter give up. I always ask her to come back and try again. I never want to see her quit or give up on herself. I want her to know she can do anything she sets her mind to. Esp. with God in the driver's seat.

  13. I'm new to your blog, Rebecca Jo, but I really like what I see so far. And I absolutely LOVE this song. As a Kentucky girl myself, I'm a huge fan of country - for that very reason. The songs are so moving, and so many of them have deep, Biblical truths in them. Glad you wrote about it.
