Sweet... & sad....

Today would have been my Papaw's 89th birthday....

I'm still in shock over the accident that was so stupid to end his life... I still dont get it... I still get so mad about how something so small can end a life... changing everyone else's life...

We celebrated my dad's birthday on Sunday (Post is coming of that great day with some pictures) & yes, his father's birthday is the day after his. 

So my niece Sophia, being the sweetest little heart ever, made a "card" for her Papaw (my dad) for her Granddad (my Papaw)


It says:   "I love dad (but when she read it to me, she said "granddad" I dont think she knew how to spell 'grand') ... I am sorry he died.... He was the best"

And she told me about the picture at the top, "That's me & Granddad holding hands"

Oh my goodness... is that the sweetest little thing from a 6 yr old heart...

& heart breaking all in one...

    Six year old girls are the best at this kind of stuff. They should hire all little girls to write Hallmark cards.
