Survived... but a little down...

Yep... its already over.  I'm sitting in my room... in my home... & I'm sad.... missing two cute little babies like you wouldnt believe!

Let me say though first - THANK YOU!  Thank you to my friends who text me, called me, emailed me, Facebook'ed me - friends near, friends far - friends I see, friends I've met through blogs... all your words of encouragment, your prayers - they all made such a difference to me.  I cant express ENOUGH what it meant to me... I am blessed to have you all in my life!

Thanks to my parents too... they stayed at my house taking care of our 4 fur-babies... we couldnt make the trip without my parents help.... PLUS, I came home to a new book shelf my dad installed... how cool is that!

I did survive the plane ride... but the ride home was an experience.  We were flying into a stormy area & most of the flight was turbulent (that's where I'm white knuckling the seat).  We're above the clouds, seeing blue skies - but all of sudden, it was like the brakes went on WAY up in the air & I'm thinking, what's going on?  Next thing I know, we are going down pretty quickly - & then we are in the dark clouds where we couldnt even see the end of the wings... I was about ready to freak out... & then we hear the wheels being dropped & all of sudden, we come out of the clouds & we, seriously, like 30 seconds later, LAND....

I guess they were keeping us up above the clouds as long as possible before dropping in the middle of the stormy weather - but wow... that about made me want to pee on myself...but I DID survive... THANK YOU JESUS!

Now, I have to unpack (boo!) - love some more on my doggies (YIPEE!) - get some rest because I'm going back to work tomorrow (BOO!) - & download pictures (YIPEE!)... & pictures, oh, the pictures...I'm not even sure what the picture count even ended up at...

I'm just going to look through these pictures for quite awhile as I come off the grand-baby high... because right now, I'm just plain sad.... missing kissing little faces, looking at smiles that melt my heart, & hearing the noises that every animals makes with a 2 yr olds little voice...

...sniff... sniff...

  3. I'm glad you made it home safe and sound. I don't think I would have handled that flight very well myself. We could have wet ourselves together. LOL

  5. Oh, honey, I can just imagine how you're feeling. Ready to pack up your house and move down to be with them, aren't you?

    Praying for you right now.

I can't wait to see the pictures. We will fuss all over those grandbabies right along with you, even if it's just on the computer :)

  6. Rebecca,
That sweet little doll baby of a grandson of yours is so ADORABLE! How do you not just eat him completely up? :) What a punkin pie! I know you miss your grandbabies, but think about how wonderful it will be when you get to see them, again! You have been blessed!
